Works great with dual 4k HDMI ports and a Logitech sync usb, and transferring to external drives with remaining portion. Charging runs smoothly. Docking/undocking still working out some kinks with display distribution. Like the color build and feel of device. So happy to have dual monitors, annoyed at apple that I needed to purchase this!Dock is a little offset since it seems to be more built for a MacBook pro (see pics). Every once in a while need to unplug power, 2 hdmi's, and bluetooth receptor (keyboard/mouse) and plug back in that order. Still works great.12MAY2020Still working, sometimes need to replug in everything. May need to reset MAC smc every once in a while. Might be causing some overlying issues trying to update software. Make sure device is removed and smc reset is performed before any major updates. (alternatively this could just be an Apple issue).

I like that it is exactly what i ordered, and works like it should i needed to add external storage to my 2018 MBAir and this thing is great and adds other ports. Hasn't drained the battery much either, very solid purchase and highly recommend.

I buy these for my employees all the time. They are great quality and get the job done. I will continue to order these.

This dock does almost everything I want. The dock itself is slick and fits perfect against my Mac even on an elevated laptop stand where it's not flush on a desk. I've returned my first dock and my replacement seems to be experiencing the same issues, so I don't think my issues are flukes.Cons:- No Ethernet port, but there's enough USB 3 and Cs on this thing to easily add a dongle.- The headphone jack is audio out only; would be nice if it did mic input so I could actually use my headset.Problems:- Sometimes after the computer goes to sleep, it stops charging. This has meant a few mornings my laptop is completely dead, not really what you want.- Sometimes the dock needs to be unplugged and plugged back in as all devices have seemingly disconnected.I'm going to stick it out a few more days and see if anything gets better, but I think the solution might be to get two different dongle docks and use InstaMorph to make my own single plug.

This hub is exactly what I have expected. It was really convenient for me to use multiple connector without any problem. My macbook was also be able to read this hub too. I really like this grey color because it looks as same as my laptop. I would buy it again for my brother's birthday.

I bought a new macbook and was wondering how could I use my non apple accessories and looking around I found this amazing hub which when attached also won't let you feel if there is an additional attachment added. It has all the necessary ports required for any other device to be connected. Also it has a groovy fitting thus fitting very easily to the mac on the side. I would highly prefer this hub and it is worth the money I spent.

I could not wait for this item based on the reviews - however, my excitement soon turned to absolute sadness. So, this item has 2 HDMI ports, 3 USBC ports (1 charge, 2 data) and 2 USB-A ports. My unit: 1 HDMI and 1 USBC-data port working - the rest DEAD ON ARRIVAL! Anyway returning for a new unit as I know that some units can be a "lemon" and willing to give it a second chance. Will writ e anew review upon receiving a replacement as I have seen in the reviews, some people have had similar issues. No-one can be perfect, so willing to give a 2nd chance.UPDATE: Received replacement and it's working 100% as advertised, so now it gets 5 stars.

This product worked great for about a week. Now it will not charge as I use it and will not let me close my Mac and work off of my two external screens. Not worth $100 in my opinion.
