Keeps finger very straight, but hard to hook closed & stay closed
This is the best brace I have found for keeping my sprained finger straight, but it is hard to hook closed. It is not exactly velcro, buy rather you have to have a lot of tension on it for it to stay hooked & closed, so I have to pull it very tight around my wrist for it to stay hooked. Wish it was just regular velcro so I didn't have to have it so tight around my wrist. And it still comes off a lot when I'm sleeping. I might buy some velcro to replace what is there, then it would be the perfect brace.

Comfortable and supportive
I purchased this splint to wear overnight to help trigger finger. I am a retired therapist who searched hard for a split which looked comfortable but would hold my finger in the right position. I am pleased with the positioning and comfort. My only criticism is that the stay ( metal piece) could be a little more stiff as it flexes a bit more than I like and that the hook fastener is starting to lose it’s grip. This is disappointing as I expect to be using the splint for a while.

The worst product ever!
I was excited thinking I would soon get pain relief from this finger splint. When it arrived I immediately ripped open the package and pulled out the splint. To my shock and dismay the splint had no instructions nor directions. Not only that, but the finger splint part is like 9-10 inches long!!! It covers half my finger with a whole 6 inches left. I read it is adjustable but see no way of how to adjust it, short of cutting through the splint with a saw! This is very aggravating. I went to YouTube and even to copper compression’s website to find instructions on how to adjust it. The real question here is...”Should I be doing all of this just to use this thing?” I even tried using the Velcro to tie around my finger and if must be sewn on backwards..because even that does not work. It’s definitely going back. I will never purchase any of their products again!

Great for MCP Extensor Subluxation
I injured my right 3rd MCP extensor tendon and ended up with a subluxation injury that limited my ability to play tennis (I'm right hand dominant). I researched several different splint devices that were similar to this one and were sold for half the price. I chose this splint because I noticed in the video instructions that this particular splint could be easily adjusted to the length of your hand and finger. In addition, you could choose to apply the splint to either the volar or dorsal side of your hand/wrist depending on your situation. After receiving the product, I'm pleased to report that the splint is indeed very easy to use and can be easily adjusted to accommodate volar and/or dorsal injuries. The splint itself is well made and very stable once applied to your arm. I would highly recommend this product to my patients, friends and family members.

The Real Deal
This is the real deal. It works as described to immobilize your finger. I tried other kinds that only wrap the finger, but they didn't work. I have a medium sized hand, and it just fits. Someone with a smaller hand may have to cut a piece off the aluminum spine at the bottom to get the wrist cuff to fit.The brace is comfortable to wear 24/7, depending on your needs. The brace comes assembled and fits on the back of the hand, as the sales picture shows. To put it on, take off the removable finger strap and attach the brace to the top finger knuckle. Then, undo the wrist straps. Pull the right wrist strap up and across the wrist, firmly against the heel of the palm. Hold that in place while pulling the left wrist strap across and over the right wrist strap, and attach it. Then attach the finger strap as needed. Bend the aluminum spine as needed.

Poor velcro
I have developed an issue with my ring finger on my right hand such that I need to keep it straight to allow it to heal, so I thought a completely adjustable brace would be great. Unfortunately, the stabilizer in the brace doesn't extend all the way to the end of the finger. I could live with that because there is a closure strap that helps some. The biggest problem only became apparent after 3 or 4 wears...the velcro on the wrist portion of the brace doesn't stick anymore. I put it on and it just falls open with the slightest movement. Thus it provides 0 stability for my finger. I am giving it 2 stars because it's a decent concept but the velcro quality is so poor as to make it unusable as it is. I am going to put new velcro on it myself to keep using it. (Difficult to do with an injured finger, so kind of counter productive. )
