Fish can smell
I've been using Pro Cure several years. It's a go to bait sent for saltwater fish. Many times a big red or trout can't see the lure in heavy cover,but they can smell and home in on the sent. It last a long time and I us it.

I am a huge believer in pro cure millet gel for tarpon, ive tested the theory and had litterally 2x as many bites and better hookup ratios when using it!!! Works awesome on hard baits! My favorite is a toowater lure slathered with pro cure, catches the tarpon every time!

Tough to determine how good it really is
Really sticky stuff! I am not sure I should have ordered the Mullet flavor. Probably should have gone with shrimp or inshore. Tough to determine how good it really is.
