BOSCH PRO GCL100-80CG 12V Max Connected Green-Beam Cross-Line Laser

After careful consideration of the features and types of laser levels, I decided on this one. I am not disappointed! This laser level has every feature you could possibly need, and the laser is bright enough to be visible from at least 50 feet away. The best part is that it is self-leveling, which makes it a breeze to use. I am very glad I did my research before buying this laser level.

It's a Bosh tool, so my expectations were high...I'm not disappointed. I like that it's a rechargeable battery that works with other (Bosch) tools. The only thing I'm not a real fan of is the packaging. It's a fairly compact tool but the case it comes in is about 5" x 18" x 11". If you are carrying this in a tool trailer, space is always a premium. Small complaint, not worth marking the tool down for. Plus, the tool is well protected and I'm pleased with the functionality which is what ultimately counts.

Awesome laser this is my go to for elevating, plumb bobbing, and setting endo for machinery. Unfortunately for it was hit and took about a 12ft drop. Still comes on and all that but the pendulum didn’t survive. Will definitely by being another one of these. Awesome laser the Bluetooth comes in handy when it’s out of reach to be able to switch it off or toggle through the different modes. You will not regret buying this laser.

Accurate and extremely bright. Almost too bright, you have to be careful not to get it in your eye. Definitely worth it if you do remodeling i use it all the time. Saves you so much money in batteries. Definitely buy this if you do a lot of remodeling. I use it for laying out ceiling lights, framing, cabinets, tiling, doors, and countless other odd applications. I'll attach a picture where i just used it to intall a bulkhead on an out of level joist. I screwed the top plate on, measured down to the laser line at stud locations, removed plate and attached studs, reattached that assembly, then nailed on a bottom plate. All different length studs, perfectly level, very easy

I purchased and returned a redline laser because it line couldn't be seen on overcast winter day in the morning two feet away. Then I saw outdoor lasers can be prohibitively expensive. This laser is easy to use (my first laser), self levels, and has a dial to turn the laser direction while keeping the base in place. I could see the green line on overcast day outdoors for 40' (though faint at the far end) mid-day, and didn't have hire someone. The cost of the laser was worth it.

I compared three green line lasers and this one is a clear winner for me. I’m not a pro, but I’m picky about the laser line quality. I’m looking for a crisp edge of the line. I’m not worried how thick the line is, as I will reference the edge. A fuzzy edge won’t cut it for me. There is a distinct difference between this model and an entry Bosch green laser model, so that one was out right away. Now, when I compared this one to the competing brand with a rechargeable 12v battery and similar price, this model has a crisper line, same line thickness and brightness. Line crispness is the deciding factor for me. The comparable model’s line also has a slight pulsating brightness while this one has a stable line brightness. Extra points go for the plumb points, micro adjustment dials, Bluetooth controls including brightness adjustments. This one is a clear choice for me.

I bought a Dewalt Laser Level from my local big box store but had to take it back shortly after. The horizontal beam was 5/16” off at only 8 ft away which made it useless for me trying to measure floor height variation. I was upset since I liked its more compact design vs this Bosch unit. But, I order this GCL100-80CG and was actually very happy. Yes it is harder to tuck into a corner especially on it’s base, but it’s extremely accurate vs my 3 levels I checked it against better than advertised I found. Although bulky the base and the wall clip are actually really handy since they have the micro adjustment knob for horizontal and for vertical. I didn’t know how handy those features were until I put it to use and found them invaluable. Also very happy this has a pendulum lock something the Dewalt lacked, so no worry about damaging the pendulum when not in use. It also can be locked on an angle for projects like mounting a railing along a set of stairs. I’m very happy with my first Bosch purchase.

Después de comprarlo en abril, paso dos meses en junio y dejo de funcionar me aserque a los centros autorizados de BOSCH y hasta la fecha comentan que ellos no se hacen cargo de la garantía aun cuando es un defecto de fábrica, no me han podido dar solución ya que solo comentan que Amazon es quien tiene que checar lo, muy mal producto no recomiendo que lo compren
