Ended up buying 2. Easy to work with and very nice color. Used one roll on my 13 inch long tsuka with no ploblem. Had about 8-10 inches left. And used the 2nd roll on the saya

It works but it's still cheap-o
This is still the cheap ito you would get if you buy a $60 chinese made sword. Don't expect this to be an upgrade if you bought one of those. That being said if you want to get it because you messed up your sageo or tsuka ito for your cheap sword go ahead and pick it up. Again it's not of good quality but I wouldn't call it rubbish.

Beautiful blend of colors, perfect length.
Beautiful blend of colors bringing the extra flourish to your weapon. Also cord is very long, perfect for ninjutsu where you will use the sageo for a multitude of purposes.

Simple is Best
Simple and aesthetically subtle. Going to get a few more to keep on hand - already feel I messed up mine by knotting it improperly

Just as I had in mind
Exactly as described... a long roll of material... grip feels good, texture is correct, folds/crosses and holds true... I may have to order a few more just to become more proficient at tying/applying a tsuka-ito to these (bokken) and other items for more acuracy/feel/ and sometimes just enhanced grip...
