I used this tray as just a tray without using the "functional" attachments. We have an ipad that fits but easier to just put on lap. We didn't strap it to the seat and didn't use the side pockets as we didn't find them useful and would have been useful to be able to snap them together underneath the tray when not being used.This was used while rear facing and primarily for having a surface to color on. For that, it's great. Wish it had more of the elastic holes for more crayons but really the toddler just takes them out and throws them when she's done anyways!

My family took a lot of road trips so I wanted to get something to keep my four-year-old girl occupied while on the road. I purchased this tray in gray color. The tray is true to description and appears to be well constructed. It fits well on her lap and is easy to take on/off. It has plenty of pockets on both sides, which allows her to keep all of her markers and coloring books organized as she loves to color. My girl is very happy with it as she now has her snacks, drinks, books, toys, coloring supplies, and iPad all in one place.Pros:- Light weight- Easy installation- Compact size. We love these portable lap desks for travel. They work great in carseats and they fold up nicely. Be careful of the dimensions if you're looking for it to fit in a backpack, as sometimes this can be hard to do (or maybe I just have too much stuff in mine). Lots of little pockets and places for kids to hold their stuff and stay away from the germs and dropping everything on the airplane. One per kid keeps the fighting away and helps me plan out our flights.

What a great travel, lap tray! The detachable organizers allow the child to store small items away from the larger play area and keeps things from falling off the tray. The erasable surface is great. It cleans up easily with a paper towel. You can trace a picture by sliding it under the clear plastic surface. It is possible to work a crossword puzzle, wipe clean and then let someone else work the same puzzle. One of the best features is that it folds flat for easy storage. This is a great addition to the car for traveling.

I bought this for my niece who spends a lot of time traveling in the car. She has been using an iPad to keep her entertained. I thought this would be something she could use so that she could also draw or color which she loves to do. It came with a few markers as well and a baby on board sign too. I really like that you can fold it up and the child can carry it like a little suitcase. I did think that the main tray was going to be more of a harder surface then it is but overall I think that it will be pretty durable.

I have to say that I really like this tray. It looks and feels really well made and sturdy enough to hold the kids’ items. It doesn’t feel or look cheap and actually sits well infringing of my child’s car seat. I’m not sure I’m a fan of the price though but it does the job. The markers work great too and there is an added baby on board which is just OK. I haven’t used that though.

We are going on a long car ride this week for vacation and I’m really hoping this helps my 3 year old. She is constantly dropping things and wanting us to pick them up, which we can’t do since she’s in the back of the car. I like the feature of the markers that wash off and hope that it will buckle and attach around the car seat well.

I bought this because of the ratings and decent price point. The item didn't disappoint. It works great. My daughter loves it. It works as a great distraction by keeping her busy. Markers are decent, but you can always buy different ones. Clean up is quick and easy. However, I haven't tried to wash it so I don't know how it will hold up. Overall, a must have.
