The media could not be loaded. As a science teacher I buy a lot of kits for my students and most of them are underwhelming. This kit is so nicely organized with sturdy materials and very clear, easy instructions. It took us just a couple minutes to make our helicopters and start learning.

We bought this for and engineering project for my son for school. There were more than we needed for the project and we had a great time playing with them with all the kids. Good quality and lots of fun. They are a little difficult to wind up for the younger kids but the big kids had no problem.

Minimum age 5, somewhat sturdy, everyone enjoyed

Tried to use this before my Aero Ed lesson. Couldn't get it to work. Turned them over to my CAP Cadets. They made them work and had a great time with them. I guess teenagers can teach an old dog new tricks.The one down side was the instruction don't show the size of the items attached to the craft stick. Would be great if those items could be downloaded from a website.

The media could not be loaded. Seller was quick to answer my questions and extremely helpful. Kits were laid out and instructions easy to follow. Students had a blast making them and their assignment was to “improve” the design to make it go higher, fly longer, and travel farther.

Great tool to teach aerodynamics and propeller torque effects

Easy to put together. I had a group of kids ranging from 7 to 12. A few kids had trouble (surprisingly it was the older ones) and some kids were to impatient to wind them up all the way to get the maximum lift but we had a great time. If short on time I suggest cutting out the helicopter pieces ahead of time. It took our group about 20 minutes to fully assemble.

I’m teaching about aviation in my homeschool and the paper planes were not working well so I discovered these helicopters and the children loved them. Totally hands on, making my teaching points pop.
