WUMONIAbramelin Oil (Grimoire/Biblical Formula) (New Hermetics Oils)

This is the second Abramelin oil I have purchased from this oil maker but the first for this formula, having used the Crowley-Mathers formula the first time. I like this version more as it smells more like an anointing oil rather than being largely cinnamon, and it is gentler on the skin as the other version can slightly sting. Like my first oil, I did not buy this to use in the actual Abramelin ritual but I'd love to try that some day. I just use this for general use in anointing myself or items. Based on my use, it feels as though it contains efficacy, more so for the Grimoire-Biblical formula. Now that I used this version, I see no purpose in using the Crowley-Mathers formula as the Grimoire-Biblical formula seems better in every way. This oil maker seems to be creating this oil in the right way, so it should work for your needs.

For starters, due to the Pandemic, the first order got lost in shipping, and the seller was more than willing to replace the order to make sure I got it. They had excellent customer service and were just as patient as I was with the USPS.The oil itself is lovely. I got it to re-anoint my prayer beads that a friend had crafted for me, and this is the same seller/brand of Abramelin oil that was used in the original anointing ceremony. It has a nice smell of cinnamon with a hint of myrrh, calamus, and cassia that I can detect. Perfect for anyone who needs to anoint their ceremonial objects with a recognizable scent.I highly recommend this seller's products, as they put just as much care into them as they do their customer service. If I could give it six stars I would!

The aroma is very subtle. It doesn't smell like the OoA i remember from OTO days in my youth. That doesn't mean I don't like it, I will give it time while I get used to it. I wasn't planning on using it for a working, just as an aid in meditation. It is mysterious. I was very pleased with their prompt shipping and the careful packaging. I recommend this vendor. I feel like the practitioner who prepares the product cares deeply about the quality of his work. I intend to learn about all his products and buy more when I have time and the inclination.

I have made this myself, using both the "traditional" (and apparently erroneous) formula popularized over a century ago and the "revised" version from what appears to be a more authentic translation of the Abramelin book. This appears to be the real deal, conveniently prepared for me at a decent price. Uplifting and very superior to the other formula - both are warm due to the cinnamon oil, but the other formula is intolerably hot due to the combination of cinnamon and galangal (a relative of ginger) - and lacking the positive influence of calamus.

Wonderfully made, especially given that it is a relatively obscure product. I would absolutely buy again, though it does last quite awhile.
