Tacony Corporation Klasse Twin Stretch Machine Needle, Size 4.0mm/75 1/Pkg

I got this twin needle in the mail eight hours ago. Stitched one pantleg, mid-weight knit, looks great. Next leg. Sewing along, slow pace, not pulling the fabric whatsoever. One of the needles broke. Um. No idea what happened. No bueno. I can't take the chance on this brand again. If I could find a twin stretch needle at the local sewing/fabric store, that would be great. Ridiculous.

The description for this item states that it is a 5 pack. The first time, they sent me one (1) needle. I contacted Amazon who immediately communicated to Supermart.com that there was a problem. They responded promptly and said they would send the balance immediately. Today I received the package. It only had 3 needles in it. Now I have 4, but not 5. I am giving up on the effort to get the full order. But I won't order from that particular vendor again. The items come with no paperwork at all, just the items in an envelope. I found that odd.

These needles quickly make a really nice-looking hem for stretch fabrics. Just once around and it's done! (Since you can't back-stitch to anchor the threads, I leave long tails at the beginning and end, and knot them together on the wrong side.) The price per needle of $2.05 is a very good deal compared to my local chain fabric store.

I’m stunned. Bought the twin needle for a project I’m finally getting to. It doesn’t fit my machine! Falls right out with the screw tightened all the way. I can only use Klasse, so it isn’t the brand itself. The needle is defective 😖

Love this needle so much. Perfectly fit my Singer and really adds a nice element to my topstitching.

I really like this twin needle. I wish it was available in a little wider also.

My needle arrived packaged nicely and on time. I applied it to my machine and it broke on its first use.
