Cruelty Free, Dr Recommended Anti Aging Vitamin C Face Cream - 1 oz.

I’ve tried many vitamin c serums from other companies, many of them costing much more than Hanson’s and none compare. The product always smells great (I’ve had some smell moldy from other companies ) and it feels like butter on your skin. It soaks in well and I can use my other products after with no issues. My skin feels brighter and more refreshed when I’m using this regularly especially in the winter. Just ordered another one last week.

This vitamin C product is more aligned with facial primers due to its silicone ingredient. I was surprised to pump it onto my fingertips and discover it’s thickness. I have used it on my face, neck and chest. It caused a few small whiteheads on my face which is normally dry. It does smell pleasant like oranges. If I am going out for the evening I will use it on my neck and chest for its ability to soften fine lines. I’m by no means a chemistry major, but I have been an Esthetician in the medical field a majority of my working past and have a few additional thoughts I wanted to share. A serum is a watery liquid compound. This is a thicker formula and clearly intended to sit on top of the skin, again due in part to the silicone ingredients, who’s purpose is fill in fine lines and imperfections, creating a smooth appearance to skin and texture to the product itself. Vitamin C needs to penetrate and become absorbed into the skin for efficacy, combining it with silicone seems by nature of the compound in opposition of the goal of proper absorption of its vital ingredient. Which in turn allows for long term improvements. Thus I’m a bit skeptical of this formulations combination, but again not a Chemistry major. That said, this is offered at a entry level price point and its ability to temporarily create a smooth and silky appearance as well as touch-ably softer feeling skin when used is nice and works great as a primer when make-up is applied over it.

I was very excited to try this product. I have aging and sensitive/dry skin and everything listed about this product covered my checklist of what I’m looking for in a skincare product. I’ve been using this product for a couple days and here’s my pros and cons.Pros; this product is scented. It smells like oranges. Citrusy. So if you’re sensitive to scented products this will bother you. I like the scent. I like to be able to smell my products. It also definitely smooths my skin texture. Makes a great canvas to do makeup. For non sensitive skin type.Cons; it does not absorb into the skin. It feels like a waxy layer on top of the skin. So if you have sensitive skin this will bother you. I have sensitive/dry skin so this bothered me. I want my moisturizer to absorb into my skin and alleviate the sensitivity/dryness.It definitely does not work for my skin sensitivity, but it may work just great for your skin type and needs.

It's thick and smells like orange peels. The pump gets stuck, due to the thickness. But it's a strong product, and it's working to smooth my texture. Don't use this on a burn, cut, or open acne, it will burn like mad. It reminds me of the Ordinary brand of Vit C.

First, this cream is so thick, yall!! I was surprised at how nicely it feels just out of the bottle. Too many creams pump out thin and runny products. That was definitely not the case here. It goes on smooth and feels almost powdery once it's been swiped on. It's not heavy and definitely not greasy. Bonus, it has a delicious orange scent instead of the flowery or medicine smells that most cosmetic products have.I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and feel like it's made my skin just a little softer.

Serums usually have a watery and lightweight texture, but, not this Vitamin C Serum.Absorbs well, and is non sticky.Leaves my skin very soft and smooth.Smells like fresh oranges.
