This is a good belt pouch. Small enough not to be in the way but has enough room to hold an adequate amount of cartridges, whether they are 22 or larger.This would be a practical belt pouch for carrying, other miscellaneous, small things such as fire, making equipment, credit cards/cash, or if you happen to be a smoking person, you could put your makings for your Mary Jane, better known as Gangi, or that sticky, icky icky, left handed cigarette ,some skunk weed and a lighter some papers or a small pipe.The uses for this pouch are limitless for small items.I highly recommend this pouch. I have been carrying it every day since I got it and it is just starting to show some character. I will do a future review to see how well it holds up.

Nice leather belt pouch to carry extra loose ammo. However is very stiff, must be buffalo hide. Probably has dried out in storage, not a problem I'm applying neatsfoot oil and other leather conditioners. Quality leather pouches are hard to come by especially at this price. I bought two.

I dont know why this was more expensive than the clamped pouches but it is easy to pop open to get ammo but it can easily pop open spilling your ammo. Plus for the size, and durability of leaver, but negative for the button.

I used to carry quick access .22LR in a pants pocket. This is a nice alternative. The leather is rather thick and arrived partially squished in from shipping. I just lightly wetted the inside and stuffed it with a clean towel until it dried. The leather took a slightly outward set and works great for holding and retrieving ammunition. A nice improvement from pants pocked carry.

This pouch is perfect - the quality is great. It's big enough to hold a reasonable amount of ammo, but not so big that it's awkward or heavy on my belt. Right now I have about 75 rounds of .22 magnum in it and the pouch keeps the ammo secure. Great product! The price makes it even better!

It is indeed a stinky little sucker! Not a totally obnoxious odor but pretty unpleasant. I have yet to use any of my leather cleaning supplies on it; hopefully one of these will eliminate the problem. Aside from the smell it seems to be a nicely made item, perfect for carrying around a day's supply of 22 long rifles. The size is perfect for that. The twist-lock closure is obviously a later add-on and seems a bit on the chintzy side but it works well enough (for now anyway). If I can get rid of that smell I'll update this review with what worked for me. All-in-all a pretty good product for the money but, unless that smell can be removed, not one I would suggest using as a deer hunting accessory ;-) UPDATE: Neatsfoot oil and some kind of obsolete leather cleaning produce seem to have knocked out 95% of the smell. Also gave that dry looking leather a nice mahogany hue. Worked for me... may or may not work on all of them.

I regularly shoot with a .22lr, and as that ammo is small and easily dropped I got tired of having to carry spare rounds just in the boxes it was purchased in. This gives a much better carrying option, weather in a box or on the hip. The leather is a good quality for cost, and is stylish for any ocassion. Size is perfect for carrying with easy and light weight even filled

Love this carry pouch. It works great for extra 22lr ammo to carry around on your belt. Now if I can just remember where I put it at so I can use it again? Maybe I will by another one!

Smells God awful, you need to leave it outside to air out. Really stiff lips make for hard opening. It's a cheap pouch, you get what you paid for, still works.

It is leather.It is sturdy.It smells like all the mildew ever, but is not discoloured.This pouch is impregnated with some super-musty smelling chemical.
