These 12” kitchen tweezers are an unexpectedly great utensil. I use them mainly for plating pasta dishes, and they make handling delicate ingredients so much easier. They feel sturdy, easy to control, and really precise. Definitely a must-have for anyone who likes cooking or wants better control while plating.

My original purpose for purchasing foot-long tongs had nothing to do with cooking. I needed something to get wads of dog/cat hair out of my expensive Dyson V10 vacuum that had malfunctioned and clogged. Plus, I often need a longer reach to pull things out from under the refrigerator, washing machine, stove; you get the picture. I didn't expect what came in the mail, though. I absolutely love these giant stainless steel kitchen tweezers! In the short time since they arrived, I have used them to easily clean out that hair clog and to pull my phone out from under my couch when it fell out of my pocket. Afterward, I placed the tweezer/tongs into the dishwasher, where they came out clean and shiny, and used them to lift boiled eggs from the pot, extract boiled noodles out of hot water, and even used the round-nosed one to gently "relocate" a caterpillar to a herbaceous shrub where (s)he will get the chance to fly. I don't know how I survived so long without these giant tweezers! Plus, they are affordable and so well made. I use them so often I don't put them into a drawer; I hang them on a rack over my stove for easy access. The ends of these tweezer/tongs are not sharp, which means I won't be stabbing myself. One tong has a rounded end, and one tong has a more pointed (not needle pointed) end. Both ends have, what I'll call, small traction grooves etched into them so things you grasp will not slip out. I'm sorry I waited so long to buy these.

I’m enjoying these tong tweezers. I thought I might need the 16”, but these 12” work perfectly. So much easier to turn over bacon or other thin foods. I now have 3 tweezers, as they are so handy to use. They clean up easy by hand, or I put mine in the top rack of dishwasher. Good quality and heavy, not flimsy. Great value and worth the money.

I like the sturdiness of these tweezer tongs. And they work as expected. They have a little plastic band to keep them closed when not using. It's small and I'll probably loose it! Easy to clean. They arrived when they said they would!
