Very Lightweight and Diverse
If you order this, you may notice that the coins are so lightweight they feel fake. I was so concerned about this, I contacted the company. They assured me, in writing, that all the coins are genuine. The explanation may lie in the fact that all the coins are very small denominations, and various countries use metals different from ours to make their coins. The coins represented in this set come from a wide range of countries, which is exactly what I was looking for. They arrived quickly, and the free shipping was a big incentive for buying these. The identification sheet is a must-have for this set, as not all coins have understandable lettering. If you want to know what countries are included, just enlarge the picture of the list above. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase. I recommend it for beginning collectors, educational purposes, and anyone looking to supplement a collection with coins from countries they may not have, if those countries are represented here.

Great gift for kids who like coins!!
Bought this as a birthday present for my five year old godson who is very interested in coins. He totally loved it and the gift was a major hit with him!! What really made this coin set very useful is the paper that came along with the coins that had a picture of each coin and then the country each coin came from, so very easy to identify each coin. Great learning tool since I also bought him a world map as a gift so we could see where each country is on the map. Great gift for kids!

Great for Kids And New Collectors
I was very pleased with the selection. It gave me a couple hours of enjoyment, placing them in a coin folder. All the coins are in great condition. However, this set may be a bit overpriced. For example, there are two 1 euro cent coins from two different countries. One euro cent is currently worth 1 US cent. If you do the math, 50 coins for 20 bucks comes out to about 40 cents for each coin. That's one helluva profit on each coin. I still recommend this set for young collectors, but the price should be a bit cheaper.

REAL COINS?
i found a lot of variation in weight and diameter of the coins bought vs NGC, PCGS & Numista (all of them are consistent) data. Please provide confirmation that coins are authentic and not imitations.

They are fake plastic repblicas that are flaking off.
Why are half of these "uncirculated" coins fake plastic. They are not even close to good fakes. The paint is separated from the plastic and is flaking off.

Really cool bunch of world coins
Really cool bunch of world coins. Maybe a few duplicates but who cares. Each coin looked to be in mint condition and the bunch came with a list that identified where each coin came from. Very fun and very satisfied,
