Keeps phone dry, can't use touchscreen under salt water
Awesome case - works extremely well with one caveat - you apparently cannot use a capacitive touchscreen underwater. In hindsight, this should have been apparent. I didn't realize this until I was using this as my backup camera during a snorkeling trip in Hawaii. My supposedly waterproof panasonic camera leaked and died, so I had my old iphone 3gs in this case. I was first puzzled that the camera worked fine above water, but would not trigger underwater. While puzzling over this on the beach, it occurred to me that the capacitive touchscreen of the iPhone probably wouldn't work in a conductive medium (saltwater). Subsequent searches of the internets appear to confirm this - the screen essentially "sees" one gigantic finger touching the entire screen. If they would make a version with the ability to use the volume buttons, then you could take pictures using that functionality if your phone/OS supports it.What I ended up doing is shooting video. With the phone above the surface, you can start recording using the touchscreen, then go underwater and video whatever you want. When you want to stop, hold the phone above water to allow the touchscreen to work again.

big and clunky
I haven't tested or dropped it in water yet. It's usable through rubber screen, but slow and difficult. Comes with a buoy attachment which just adds to the size. Very heavy as well. I hang it in my boat because it is just too cumbersome. Better than a wet iphone I guess.

Great case for my iPhone
I just got back from a week long backpacking trip in the Uinta mountains. I bought this case so I could use my iPhone as a GPS (running AccuTerra software). I kept my iPhone in this case all day (usually attached to the shoulder strap on my backpack) and recharged at night with a New Trent IMP660 charger. This case was great - light, rugged, waterproof, and I could operate the iPhone normally through the touch-sensitive cover. It held up through a dozen rain and hail storms, morning fog, and a dip in the lake while fishing. I didn't give it 5 stars but the fit was a little loose so I had to keep a piece of cardboard behind the phone to keep it from sliding around and the touch-sensitive cover attracts dirt like a magnet.

Make your choice above water
I took this on a cruise to take under water video on a few snorkeling trips. The case works great, phone stayed dry down to about 15ft, that's as deep as I went with it. The only down fall is you have to start/stop recording above water, once the case is under water the pressure holds down the screen and won't allow you to start, stop or take a picture. This is true on both a Huwaii ascend II and Iphone4 in my experience. Once you know of this though it takes nice clear video under water.

Bought for Samsung Moment
Bought this for a Samsung Moment phone to use on a river-rafting trip. Haven't gone on the trip yet, but the phone fits perfectly (just barely, though). Looks like it will be a good way to take "wet" photos. Back is hard-clear plastic - photos take good through it. Front is soft pliable plastic that will allow you to use the touch screen adequately for taking photos or answering calls.

It kept the phone dry!
I loved that the phone was dry. You have to keep the touch part clean all the time it attracts dirt and sand. It was nice that it floated. We took it parasailing and snorkeling. I would buy it again.
