When it comes to a jarred marinara, this sauce is on point. I feel like it is tough to find a good one other than a Rao's or Carbone type of brand, but I think this may be better than those. Fresh tomato flavor. It feels like it wasn't cooked down as much and preserved some of that freshness that you want. You can see the separation of the olive oil on top, which is a good thing. Tastes like it's from a high end Italian restaurant, and absolutely worth the money to have around when you need something quick but still want something really good and properly done and didn't have to do any of the work. Highly recommended and will be buying again.

My family really likes this sauce and it has all clean ingredients. Only: TOMATOES, PURE OLIVE OIL, FRESH ONION, FRESH GARLIC, SEA SALT, FRESH BASIL & SPICES. We use it to make boneless pork chops in tomato sauce with fresh mozzarella. My husband uses it as the sauce to make homemade pizzas too. Really happy with the sauce and hope they continue to make it with these clean ingredients in the future.

Based on the rave reviews, I purchased 4 jars of this sauce. I was super excited to try it out and immediately made a batch of spaghetti with my homemade meatballs and hot Italian sausage. Upon opening, the sauce definitely looked homemade and the trace of olive oil at the top made it even more appealing. Sadly, the taste didn’t do much for me. It was very bland and felt like it was missing a lot. The ingredients listed on the jar should have made for a wonderful flavor. My wife even commented on the lack of flavor and asked if I had tried to make my own sauce. lol. For the price, it is not worth me purchasing again. I was very disappointed because so many reviews stated it was the absolute best. Until I perfect my own homemade sauce, I will stick with Rao’s as it is the best tasting of the store bought sauces I’ve tried.
