SmartTV Without The Headache
This Android box is meant to boost a standard TV to a smart TV via USB link. The interface is USB 2.0, and with the onboard RAM and memory, can handle most light tasks for the apps. The CPU/GPU processing is straightforward and does not cause hangs in either 4k or 60 Hz framerate playbacks. I do not have a problem with standard playback or caching at all, and the wifi connection is strong enough for continuous playback.I'm not sure what the other reviewers were saying about custom software as the one I received ran the default Android TV without any unusual skinning. This box takes about 15-20 mins to fully update all the apps that are already installed, so plan on some waiting while this goes on. The included apps are pretty straightforward, but you can add others like Crunchyroll, Viki, and Funimation (I think you can gather what my TV preferences are). There is one downside that the box does not have Bluetooth functionality which would be great with pairing this with speakers. That is a minor downside, but something that the manufacturers can work on for the next version. This box works completely as advertised for the 4k/60 Hz market. You could add a 32 GB SD card (or microSD card with the SD adapter) if you want to play files direct, but at least get a 100 MB/s version. Also, this box does have a standard Ethernet cable, but I prefer using the wireless.

In disbelief at the price
I really didn't expect to think much of this device but this definitely blew me away. This is one of my most favorite Android devices that I own, it's extremely small and compact and the specs are decent but somehow the experience is just so smooth. Right out of the box I didn't see a single amount of slowdown even during setup. One of the very first things I did was download a typical laucher to make it feel like a regular Android device rather than one made for TVs, and the USB ports on the left support USB hubs, so I connected a keyboard and mouse and it just feels like a pocket Android PC at this point. The ethernet port is decent enough, I was able to cap it out around 100Mbps, and the wifi signals are pretty good too for being an entire floor away. I've run 3DMark on the device and it seems to be slightly faster than the cheaper Android tablets on the market, but the actual experience itself (navigating around) is extremely smooth to the point where I'd think it was running something faster than listed. It comes with a few preinstalled apps that help you to setup video watching pretty easily and also has an SD card slot on the side that you can use to get the videos off that instead as there is internal storage (or you can use a flash drive since the USB ports support OTG).My only gripes with this device is that it uses an AC adapter rather than Micro-B for power, and there is no bluetooth support (I've even tried using a USB bluetooth adapter but to no avail)But besides this, I think this is an amazing product, I might even get more for gifts down the line

Great for KODI!
Great to watch youtube video on my TV . It is super simple to use, you only have to download the app for , hulu, youtube and all you want to watch and you are good to go ! this is like a Roku box but better in my opinion, this is an upgrade to a very bad box that I had.You can also install GAMES, you can also watch your multimedia files like MP3's for example !It comes in a super nice box, ready for gifting, in this case was a gift to myself :)It is really good for kodi!, I also have an air mouse, it really makes searching way easier and faster, after almost 2 months of using it I really recommend it. Cheers to efficiency!

My new best friend for car trips!!
Okay, so we took a little mine vacation and we hooked this device up to the TV in our van. It was the perfect thing for the kids. Normally we are constantly changing out DVDs throughout the ride and are limited to a lot of things the kids wish to see. It was so easy to install and the kids was able to watch so much stuff on YouTube. It was basically like hooking my phone up to the TV in my van. The picture quality was very good and clear. Of course you have to have Wi-Fi and I was using our hotspot. A very good investment

WiFi is terrible
This is the second box I've had. The first consistently froze up and the voice would never match up. The second box worked okay for a day and was getting good Wi-Fi signal now it's only getting 1Meg, everything else in my house is working fine fire stick is working excellent. I had bought this because I thought it was an upgrade from the fire stick and would be faster I was very wrong I should have just stuck with a firestick

NOTHING IS COMPATIBLE
This box is obsolete! Netflix comes downloaded but you cannot update because it's not compatible. You can't get Hulu because it's not compatible. Can't get PBS kids to open once I downloaded it. I will be returning this ASAP

LEAST FAVORITE
I have owned a few Android TV boxes over the past few years and this is the worst one I've owned! It crashes over and over and over again no matter how many times it is reset to factory specs. As soon as I load kodi and any other streaming program it crashes, states kodi has stopped working but I have 2 other android tv boxes with kodi running perfectly! I do not recommend this brand!

Meant to return.
I meant to refund this, still in the box. Diffcult to set up. Shows offered are yrs.old reruns. Can't access sports channels. Not many options.
