The watch works very well and easy to operate and adjust. The display is easy to read, with sharp numbers against a fairly bright background. And the night light is also easy to read. The watch has a spohisticated yet hefty tactical look and feel, and is rugged and well made. It's a great deal and worth far more than the low price. It's impressive and I wear it proudly. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

My watch arrived today in a nice black cardboard box with instructions included. It was perhaps the easiest watch to set the time on that Ive ever had. I'm a connoisseur of cheap watches so that is saying something. The band is wide and the buckle engages nicely. The large display makes it easy to see the time and the backlight works well enough to do the job. The buttons are accessible and have a reassuring feel, springing back up strongly, with only a slight bit of play side to side. The mode button on bottom left beeps crisply when pushed to switch from time to stopwatch to alarm to timesetting. The stopwatch is excellent and displays increments down to hundredths of a second. There seems to be some variation of the text around the watchface based upon the pictures displayed on amazon. Mine reads SKMEI across the top, has labels for each button's function, then says SKM-1167 at the bottom center. My only complaint thusfar is that the bezel is not a matte black color as it appears in the photos. It is quite shiny - not the best trait for a watch marketed as a tactical/military style timepiece. Overall, this seems like a solid purchase. I will update if it's longevity or water-resistant abilities prove to be lacking.

Large but feels light on the wrist. Easy to set. Very readable. The band physically matches into the case nicely and seems robust. Auto Adjusts to months less than 31 days but does not adjust for leap year. Who cares its a quick once in 4 year adjustment. Takes a large CR2032 battery so depending on how much you hit the display light should last for years. It mostly hangs on my bike handlebar. Temperature extremes, rain, vibration and it takes it all. Even if it only lasts a few years it's still a great value.

I switched from the tried-and-true Casio F91W-1. The difference is the way wrist strap is attached to the watch. On an F91W it is with pins, this is screwed into place. Due to my line of work, whatever watch I'm wearing gets A LOT of abuse. The pins would always on the Casio. They are so cheap I would just buy another one. The way the band is screwed into place that is not a problem with this watch. I had been going through several Casios a year. This has held up for 10-months. Aside from that, it has all the basic features you would expect and is easy to use while being easy enough to program without reading the manual. Also, it looks great.

My cheap Timex watch broke 2 weeks ago. I searched through many watches on Amazon and ordered. The first one, I could hardly see the screen unless I pressed the light button. No good. Sent it back. The second one was nice, but the seconds were crowded in right next to the hours and minutes, the same size. It made the screen a bit confusing. I'd have to constantly do a double take to ascertain what time it was. I hardly ever need to look at the seconds. Sent that back, too. I want a cheap watch that keeps decent time, has a nice secure strap, and, most importantly, has an easy-to-read screen I can just glance at quickly and know the time. Bingo. This one checks all the boxes, and the price is right.
