very well-researched information presented in this book.extremely interesting regarding frequencies of each vertebra and how to relax and heal the spinal column.this book is a one-of-a-kind resource of vital healing information compiled and analyzed and presented by a Doctor of Chiropractic who also has Trager experience (which is rare).i have been a massage therapist for over 10 years now, and this book definitely takes my sound healing practice to the next level.i'd love to get my hands on the sound instrument Dr. Wieder created, however the cost is prohibitive at this time.every frequency you need to implement sound healing for amazing results can be produced with this instrument.for now, i will muddle through with the tuning forks, singing bowls, tingsha's, and bells that i currently own.this book is worth every cent you pay for it.thank you, Dr. Wieder. this is a true gift. namaste

I have worked with tuning forks with people for complete relaxation which invites total healing and I experienced a practitioner using them on different meridians for healing specific problems, but Dr. Wieder has discovered that each vertebrae in the spine responds to a particular vibration. She has used muscle testing to discover which fork works for each vertebrae. When I learn more about how to use this I'm going to see what it does for me and then others. This book is well written and simple to understand.

I am enjoyed read Song of the Spine. It gives a good general introduction to sound healing.I would have liked more information on the author's own discoveries on the musical notes for the spine.I was disappointed that the author didn't include references in her book as this gives sound healing more credibility in the eyes of the scientific community.The printing was not very good on some of the right hand pages although I could still read them.Simon Heather (College of Sound Healing - UK)

This is the most concise and informative book on the specific effects of various vibrational treatments on the spine.June Wieder is brilliant. Every student and practioner in field of healing, no matter what modality, would benifit fromher research and writings. it's short n sweet and right on target.

This book is excellent! I'm already trying creative ways to get some of the vibrations to my vertebrae, and it really works! I found some online notes, such as the note C3 (which is 130.81 hz) that match the frequencies, and then play them through my headphones, placing the headphones right on the vertebrae area. I definitely feel that even that simple technique is making a difference. I bet there are many ways to get creative with this. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in sound frequency healing.

no wonder I feel so GOOD when I sing & praise God! I can feel when I'm out of tune..lol.. TRUE tho!! only now, I can understand the WHY of it all. I believe everyone should give this a read. An amazing and caring book written on the science of sound and it’s healing properties. If you are a practitioner in the realm of healing, this book is a must!

Really disappointing The relationship between the musical notes and the vertebrae is completely arbitrary and naiv. There is no reference to physical measurements of the vertebrae to try to establish acoustic relationships between the mass and the resonance of each vertebra. The same notes are associated with larger and smaller vertebrae, equal in men and women, when the measurements are different. Trying to defend the relationship between the chromatic scale by equal semitones with the vertebrae is a simple idea without any logic apart from being an occurrence. Hopefully there will be more rigor in future publications about the healing effects of sound.
