Worked great on replacing a broken one on a PVC irrigation pipe. Removing the old broken one was so much harder than installing this one. You just push this inside the pipe. Thanks for reading and YMMV.

Barbs don't seal on 1/2" drop tubes
Home depot and Lowe's had same cheap fitting. look for the gray fittings.just push on.fitting they sent are not as pictured!

Doesn't fit
1/2" Threaded end fits sprinkler head just fine however, the barbed end is too small for a 1/2" line. There is no seal between line and barb.
