Surprisingly good waffle iron, easy to use and clean. Excellent value for money. Main tip is not to overfill. I only spray tiny amount of oil for the first waffle then nothing for the remaining. Makes a decent size , crispy waffle for one. Now obsessed with waffles.

Really enjoying the waffle maker. Easy to use and so far very easy to clean even though the plates are not removable. Good value too.

I spent quite a bit of time looking at waffle makers, reading reviews and to be honest, disregarding the cheaper ones out of hand because, you know what they say, buy cheap buy twice. Not an easy task, all I knew after about an hour of looking is that I wanted a maker that made round and not square waffles and I don’t know why.So a little bit more searching and I kept coming back to the Netta machine. It did round waffles and had a 30% reduction down to £25. If it was rubbish I could return it or throw it away.It came well packed but nothing remarkable. I got it out of the boxy, gave the plates a wipe with a damp cloth, dried them, gave them a light oiling and turned it on. The instructions are pretty poor and there are no recipes in the book so I just followed the instructions on the packet of mix that I had bought. Temperature was set to medium high and I waited for the light to go out.Pouring the right amount of mixture is a little bit trial and error so the first one overflowed a little but the mix wiped off easily. There was a faint chemically smell from the machine initially as the machine heated up for the first time but it faded away and did not pass on to the flavour of the waffle.I set the timer for 5 minutes and the waffle turned out nice and light and fluffy. I felt duty bound to quality check the first waffle and was extremely satisfied. I then made the rest of the family theirs and got rave reviews from all of them. It was such a success that we had waffles for breakfast the next day with fresh blueberries (not in the mix) and maple syrup. After 3 waffles, I did lightly oil the plates again using a pastry brush.The Netta machine is nice and solid and after 2 waffle making sessions seems well made and excellent value for money but time will tell. We are not going to have waffles every day or even every week so it is not going to get overly used and I am hopeful it will last a fair while.Getting to the point of the review, if you are in the market for a waffle maker and aren’t planning to go into commercial production, you won’t go far wrong with this waffle maker.

I love this machine, Its a perfect size, I previously had a mini round one, but as I made Chaffles most days, I had to wait so long before eating them doing 1 at a time. Now I can make 1 large portion and sit down to eat, It does crispy chaffles perfectly, They are my new favourite food on a Keto diet. Quick to heat up and a good depth, I love the dial to change the temperature Hi to Low.

On opening the box, the quality of the waffle maker was questionable but what was expected for the price.Upon first use the waffle maker did produce a good waffle, however what was shocking, literally, was what happened after using the product.When attempting to unplug from the mains socket the plug fell apart, the cover falling off and exposing the wiring and fuse, while still fully plugged into the socket. The thought of what could have happened is unthinkable, especially as this is the type of kitchen appliance you might allow a child to use with supervision.The plug breaking is not a freak accident, the plug is made to below standard, the plastic is so thin it can broken with a gentle push with your finger nail.Amazon is becoming synonymous with dangerous electricals that are not manufactured to UK standards, totally unacceptable.

Worked well for a few weeks. Began to stick after that. Not worth the money sadly.
