Only seed we offer. Great product.
My song birds love this mix. This food attracts only the birds we want and not the ones we don't. House Sparrows and Starlings never come to our feeders when we only have this out.

Birds love it!
Birds love this feed! It is priced in line with other songbird feed. Texture is great they love the shells. Lasts a long time if you store in a dry place.

Great item for wild birds and us that enjoy watching them...
I have multiple bird feeders that feeds the following : Java Rice Sparrows, Brown Sparrows, Brown Finches, Red Cardinals and family, Red Crested Cardinals and family, Zebra Doves, Eurasian Collared Dove and other bigger brown birds, here in Hawaii. Thanks Pennington for providing bird feeders and bird food. This item is very convenient to be delivered; it arrived in excellent condition inside of a Amazon box and very courteous Amazon deliver driver that assisted me. The covered pail can be reused as well. Thank you Amazon for providing this much-appreciated item for bird enthusiasts.

A good value but...
The price is right compared to other similar birdfood I've seen (and bought) on Amazon. And the finches and other small birds love it. But, there is little if any niger (thistle) seed in the bag I received. So with my tall, cylindrical feeder with 6 small perches, the lack of niger seed allows the other stuff (mostly small, round seed) to come out freely which spills onto the ground. At least the rock doves get fed that way. 8-)

Great brand of seed for backyard birding!
This is the best safflower seed I have purchased! There is NO debris in the bag and no musty smell like some other bags have, and the cardinals, wrens, and house finches love it. However, the squirrels, common grackles, and blue jays do not, so it's working to keep those little critters away from the food for the smaller guys! I especially like that the Cornell Lab of Orinthology is partnered with Pennington to provide the best quality, and best value for the money, in bird seeds. I can also use a very small portion size to fill up the feeders, so this bag will last a long time. Highly recommend the brandA

Our local birds love this seed mixture
My local wild birds love this mix. I have to refill the feeder every other day and have now bought 3 bags over the course of the Summer. Good price as well. I tried other recommended seeds for the types of birds we have, but they didn’t care for those, but love this.

Not Really 100% Real Fruit, Nuts, and Seeds
The package says "100%..." Well, NOT QUITE 100%...Pennington is a good name, so when I found this and it was cheaper than my usual brand AND purports to be a healthy seed blend... I jumped at it.Then I realized why it may have been cheaper than my usual brand. It has a FAR HIGHER percentage of sticks, twigs, bark, and other such inedible debris than ANY OTHER brand I have bought. I was shocked. The pictures are of 1) a cup of seed, out of the middle of the bag (not the top or the bottom of the bag), 2) that same cup in the feeder with the sticks, twigs, bark, and other bits pulled out and, 3) that collection of sticks, twigs, bark, and other such bits in the cup.As you can see, there is a significant percentage of the 100% real fruit, nuts, and seeds that are actually sticks, twigs, bark, and other such inedible bits... I am somewhat disappointed.

Perfect reusable bucket with great bird seed. No messing with a bag
I wanted to find a reusable bucket with bird seed . This bird seed is excellent and I get the bucket, not a bag.
