I bought this for my niece so that she could get her daughter down more easily. This was after my great niece was crying for a while, and my daughter had to dry her hair, I was amazed, the crying stopped immediately, like the switch to put the dryer on was also the switch to stop the crying, and vice versa! I'm from one of the generations before all this wonderful stuff came along! It’s hard enough looking after a baby without all the things we had to do, boiling nappies, boiling bottles etc. I wonder we coped, but we did.

Works as described, have used it for several nights and the battery lasts really well. I particularly like the sound of the waves and have mainly used that setting. Not sure if it helps my newborn sleep but it certainly makes me feel relaxed. A lot cheaper then the branded teddies that play white noise and does the same job as far as I can tell.

Arrived very promptly, thank you. I know it's designed for babies, but i couldn't resist trying it myself so went and laid on my bed to read a book whilst listening to the 'crickets' in the background. I set the timer for 15 mins but pretty quickly I must have relaxed so much that my book fell out of the hands and bonked me on the face.I can't wait to try it at bed-time, being careful to lay the book down before I switch the machine on!The volume control is a little bit tricky, as other reviewers said.

keeps baby real calm during the night. compact design hideaway nicely in the dresser. Multiple sound options which are also good.

I thought this was great but it stopped working after 5 months. The central button is very flimsy and stopped working completely, leaving me without a white noise machine for my baby who needs it to sleep. I contacted the seller but had absolutely no response from them.

The actual noise is good however the power button was continually sticking. It now no longer works and I only bought it a few months ago. Not worth the money.

Buttons stick a lot and often unresponsive. Could be a little louder on the highest volume. Battery life much better than expected but the buttons need to be more reliable.

This item is good when it works but unfortunately it isn't well made and stops working regularly. We purchased it in March and now have to replace it. We have had to take it apart a number o times since buying it to try and fix it.
