Update 10/22/19Had to replace the case soon after my last update. That one failed also. Seems to have a problem with the power charge connector. The female end (in the phone case) gets misshapen with connecting and reconnecting the male end of the power cord. Reordered the case one last time along with a completely different power cord system which has a 2 part male end to the power cord - one end to stay in the phone case receptical, the other part to connect magnetically to the first part. No more misshapen of the female receptacle so far. More update later if that does not do the trick long term.Update 8/19/19 still using this case. Still like it very much, but still having the issue of sometimes the case does not respond (start charging) when I plug in the power cord. Small inconvenience as the problem resolves if I pull the phone partway out of the case, then push it back in. Since my last comment on this item I had tried to register my purchase as directed by the card that came with the product - instructed to send an e-mail to a < @foxmail.com > address. Sadly, that does not seem to be an actual address. Makes the seller of the product somewhat questionable.6/17/19 Feels like any standard case, a little heavier maybe. There is a wafer thin but strong magnet inside the back wall of the case, so it gloms right onto a magnetic phone holder in the car. In addition, it is SO easy to insert or remove the phone. The top 1/5 of the case pulls off, giving very easy access to the phone itself. I love the feature of being able to pull the top part off, then let it magnetically attach to the back outer wall of the case to act as a stand. Nicely designed. My ONLY concern is the power plug in. Sometimes the power inlet does not connect with the power cord, but so far just turning the power cord over and reinserting helps. Sometimes opening the case, pulling the phone part way out and then putting it back in helps. I really hope the problem does not get worse. That is the reason I downgraded to only 4 stars.

The case did not work. Would not charge when phone was inserted in case. Had to return for refund.After contacting the company, they were kind enough to replace the defective case with a new one and it is working well!

I loved this case initially. Husband (account holder) purchased for me for Christmas. First day was great. I love the sleek case, but it’s hearty enough I don’t lose it. The battery part was great. I am a little iffy on the location of the button, as I keep accidentally turning it on, think it would function better as a switch, but that’s not a deal breaker. When I went to charge it the first night, I woke up to my phone fully charged, but the case dead still. I charged it separately, and it was fine, so I was a little annoyed, but still pretty content. Then it started charging overnight fine with my phone, great, I was super happy.The last few days though there has been issues with the port for charging. The lighting cable has to be situated at an angle so that it presses against the back of the port. I have to prop it up as shown in the picture in order to create enough pressure, and even then sometimes it wouldn’t engage. Charging over night both my case and phone were still not fully charged, and when it did say fully charged, it was drained in less than an hour yesterday, and my phone wasn’t even below 70%.EDIT 1/8/2020:The case has now stopped charging almost completely. It’ll blink and do the light show like it’s charging, but after almost 4 hours it still has no charge to it. And I can’t even charge my phone while it’s on either, so I’m going caseless for good portions of the day, which is not helpful at all. I am really really disappointed with this case. I could understand maybe 6 months of wear causing these issues, but 2 weeks is ridiculous.

Bought this after initial case I bought from another vender failed to arrive, good case, good protection, recharges phone fast. First case I ordered came after this one and ended up being a cheap piece of crap. Forced to change review to lower stars since I got this it's either refusing to charge itself or refusing to charge the phone. It's not a flimsy piece of crap like last one but doesn't do the job either.

Well it’s a nice case the phone case itself doesn’t hold a charge if I could give it a zero I would for the money I spent on it

Spend your money on something other than this! (It says Power Case on the back) I have had 2 of these YLEX battery cases now and they worked great at first. I returned the first one after 4 weeks when the case would no longer charge. When I removed the case my phone charged just fine. Amazon sent me a replacement and after 6 weeks the same thing happened with the second one. Even though it is past the 30 day window, Amazon has been kind enough to allow me to return it for a refund, minus a small 're-stocking fee'.

First case I had only worked one day .. I returned it for a refund and then was contacted by the company apologizing and they sent me a replacement and said it had a lifetime warranty and if I had any problems to contact them. So far I’ve had it two weeks and it works great. Very durable

Not sure if its only the product i received or all of them are like this. It was easy to slide the phone in, but the phone is impossible to take out after. It gets stuck in the case. We had to really really pull it out and even thought about breaking the case just to take the phone back out. The charging of the phone gets a little weird with the case on - it's like the cable is too thick sometimes so it bends the inside to charge (If you get what i'm trying to say). Overall, not too heavy but it's pretty hard to take out once you put your phone in. Charge port defected.
