Rubbish Company to Deal With
Here's an interesting story about Snore RX for you.Snore RX runs competitions for people around the world to submit advertising material with an opportunity to win prizes, usually large cash prizes. Ie, videos advertising their products. The last competition, run from July to September 2012 was for a $100,000 prize. No one won it, despite the quality submissions which are posted on youtube (go search for yourself under snorerx mouthguard contest). The announcement was made by Snore RX on their facebook page that no one won it. In fact, they didn't even thank anyone for their time and effort, the quality of the videos or make comment at all other than to suggest none qualified to win the $100,000 prize. I find this hard to believe - don't you? That submissions from people around the world, would all make consistant mistakes warranting their disqualification, only advised to them on the day the prize was due to be announced, and by facebook? Maybe that was due to rules being changed without contestants being notified? Either way, the facebook backlash from contestants was quicky removed by snore rx from their facebook page. When the competition was closed, no one won the prize, despite the amount of time, money and effort spent in good faith to submit a quality entry. Snore RX will say the submissions don't comply, however, they change the competition rules without notify contestants in order to make such dubious claims. Is this about the capacity of their product to actually do it's job? No, but it is about the integrity of the business you're dealing with here, and how questionable any of their claims are.Get the word out there. According to an online highschool newsletter, this business is owned by a High School student named James S Fallon. You would think at such a young age, a reputation based on integrity would be important... but, no... according to his pal, Larry Risson (who, happens to be a jack of all trades it would seem, being the Chief Information Officer, US and International Logistics Director AND the Chief Fraud Detection Inspector of Snore RX), this practice is all quite above board as far as they are concerned. You get what you pay for - cheap product and nasty business practices.
