After the initial review I was contacted by after sales customer service. They tried to solve the problem but they couldn't. Therefore they offered to send me one of their new units with a new chip and an upgraded software. They did. I connected it to my network with both methods very easily and I have been testing it with no problem at all. I am using it with lights also controlled by a wall switch with a dimmer. I have used another brand before and the switch would go off and loose the wifi connection if the lights were slightly dimmed. With this one I can dim the lights all the way down and the switch stays on and connected to the network. It is exactly what I needed so I will order more units.INITIAL REVIEW: Four out of five didn’t work. One didn’t turn on, one had a bad turn on/off-reset button, two lasted one night. Bad luck I guess.

I used a pair of these to control a pull-chain ceiling fan. They fit neatly into the base of the fan allowing me to switch the light and fan separately with my voice (Alexa) or the app(s). The WiFi signal works surprisingly well through the steel cover of the fan. The wire terminals are very strong and positive. You have to be sure to pull the levers back far enough to open the terminals enough for the wire. My only gripe is the manufacturer does not adhere to the wire color convention used in the US and probably other places. Black is NOT the hot wire on these units but rather the neutral. Pay attention to this when setting your switch up.

I really like this Wifi switch. It is 10 A. Plenty for the 120 V ice melt cables on my roof (they draw about 3 Amps each). I would be very careful not to exceed the 10 Amps. It has a ce mark so it presumably meets European safety standards.Wire clamps make a decent connection for 14 gauge solid and stranded wires.You must use the white common wire along with the black hot wire for the power (line in) and you must use the common and hot wire for your fixture receiving power(load) as well. I'm guessing the red wire (L) is for Hot and Black wire (N) is neutral.I like the Tuya app. Software is better and more legitimate than some I have come across. Offers lots of options for timers and automated switching conditions. Plays well with Alexa.

I got these to upgrade my ceiling fans in combination with smart bulbs. These work great and fit well inside the the ceiling fan. Install quickly and easily as a normal wifi smart switch in the smart life app with seamless integration with Alexa. Just manually set the speed you want and Alexa controls turning it on and off with voice commands or routines. Love having one routine to turn on all bedroom ceiling fans and turn off all the bedroom lights with a simple command at bedtime.

safe smart program really has poor instructions. Simple auto does find and set up, but trying to custom set up with a room name, time clock, or weather sucks. Did one and cannot figure out how to custom set others ? Switches work fine, but failed my application for operating in shed 25 feet away, wifi signal not making it. one star off for progam ability. Again switches did work fine, other then software end.

These are GREAT!!!I had to re-write my original review.After having problems pairing the devices to my ISP router I finally decided to pair them over my google WiFi. I thought they wouldn’t work over Google WiFi because I’ve had issues with my security camera lights over Google WiFi.Turns out, as soon as I tried pairing over Google WiFi they paired right away and I’ve been connecting my entire house to Alexa!Now, what I really like are their solderless connectors and wish they were sold in bulk.

These were so easy to connect to Alexa and WiFi with no issues.If you have LED lights in the back yard or light poles with LED’s the switch works great the amperage is 10 amps I believe and with LED’s it’s hard to hit that much Amp’s.I also like the led light In the MYLO so you can see it connect to WiFi.So easy to connect and hook up anyone can do it.

Installation was pretty simple. I'm pretty good with home wiring, so no problem. Setting up with app was pretty easy too. It didn't work with auto scan, but worked well in manual. I didn't rate Alexa because I am using Google, and it work very well. Excellent product !
