Celeste Stein Modern

I recently had surgical repair on a leg fracture and was advised to wear compression stockings. While in Physical therapy, my therapist recognized the "anti-embolism" stockings I sported and kindly suggested I look on "Amazon" for something more fashionable. I bought these and feel less handicapped! What a difference a style can make. I feel like I went out of the "sick" mode into healing! The power of the mind, and the comfort of these "Celeste Stein" stockings are incredible. They look stylish, are fun to wear and I get daily comments when I wear them. The comfort is amazing as I find I can endure longer periods of standing allowing me to get on with the things I need to do. I would highly recommend these stockings!

Ok, I bought these because A) it's named after me ;) and B) I liked the design. Beyond that, they are lightweight but decent compression socks, perfect for a plane ride. Keeps my feet/ankles from swelling and legs don't feel tired after wearing these while walking/touring the city. Also, your feet don't overheat like some stockings. Great product, will buy more designs.

Bought a pair of Celeste Stein grey damask compression socks, very nice pattern but material & sock design very different from their other knee-hi's of which I've bought about a dozen. This particular design does not stay up despite the thicker fabric and presence of a thicker band on the top. They are constantly falling down. It's not easy to see the difference in the online photos for this product but if you look carefully at the photo of the packaged (folded) socks, you can see the thick black band at the bottom back of the package. I know now not to buy anything that looks like this. Too bad because the color & pattern for this sock are very nice. Aside from this sole unworkable product I've bought many compression socks from this company and am generally satisfied with them.

I've purchased several pair of compression knee-high hose. They offer some compression, but these seem to have a lot more compression. The result is that although I put them on up to my knees in the morning, within an hour or two, they are much tighter-feeling and have slipped down to the middle of my calf. In addition, the foot portion has gotten smaller, too, and my toes feel as though they are being squeezed too tightly.The pattern is very appealing, however.

I have 6 pairs of these knee highs now!They provide light support, are very soft and come in patterns and colors. I hand wash. Some of my older pairs have faded colors, they were bought several years ago so I can’t complain. Easy compression for comfort and style, they fit the shape of your leg well. Nice feminine patterns.

I love these, but like another reviewer, after the first wear and wash, they fell down my leg. None of the other Celeste Stein ones I've purchased do that, so it must be limited to perhaps just this design. I do love the compression and the designs are great and will buy others, but these I'm not able to wear due to them sliding down my leg.

Very very thin and cheap material. The design is adorable and looks like the picture but if you're wanting something that compresses don't go for these. When I saw customer pics of this I thought they were just compressing the woman's legs too tightly which is what I wanted. Nope. Just like she said, they look like they were made for a child. I'm 130lbs and I could barely fit them around my calves. It seems like it's way to tight around the top and cuts into the leg rather than having a nice smooth compression all the way around.

Was a good deal. Will purchase again.
