They work but they're not well designed. The Velcro is made for wrapping around larger elbow rests so if your like me and have a chair with thin elbow rests then you may need to put something underneath to stretch them out.

These are good items. They strap on tight, don't move, and provide good cushion. I did put mine on in reverse of the display as that gives the elbow more room to roam and find comfort as the day progresses. They do a good job of providing a softer pad than those stupid hard plastic armrests the chair builder provided. I just wish they were a tad softer cushion wise. With the hours my elbow pivots on this spot and with the way my bone sticks out, this pad gets a 7.8 on a scale of 1-10 for softness. I don't know if softer would make it less stable, only the manufacturer would know and they likely have tested various degrees of softness. Thinking off in space if I had 'their' space and equipment I'd make effort to provide a variable softness pad with firmer on the bottom and softer on the top. But no matter what, this item is good, does stay put, and does keep my elbow from feeling chewed on.

I didn't expect much to be honest. Not nearly as soft as I would have expected and they tend to twist and slide very easily. I actually had to pull do some serious rigging to get them how I wanted them making them nonreturnable lol. Still better than the garbage hard plastic ones that somehow came on a $300 ergonomic memory foam chair.

I bought these to cover up the rough finish on my chair arms. I tried these on the left side first and found to work well at first. Later I bound that I could not secure them on top of the existing arm rest without tearing the straps holding the new arm to the old arm. I like them enough to try to find a better way to connect these arm rests to the chair.

Not that soft at all. Better than the hard plastic armrest, but still could be a lot cushier.

Good product, well ,made. Four stars because they could have made the top area softer. It is better than the factory arm rests on this chair but only by about 25%. The factory rests have some padding to them already.I would recommend it to others.

I know I should replace this creaky old chair but I'll keep searching for a decent big and tall chair. For now, this product is exactly what I needed and nicely fits a chair not much unlike that in the product picture. I didn't want something too fluffy/soft nor add bulk that brings the elbows up. This adds just enough padding for what I wanted. Attaching them to the chairs arms didn't take too much effort. They include 4 strips of a material to put in between if you want extra grip/holding power. They also include extra lengths of hook and loop for wider arms.My elbows are happy!
