These lights showed up on time and in good packaging. They were installed in a basement which had limited space in the ceiling due to duct work. They are very bright and have the lowest profile I could find for trims that mount directly to J boxes. We used both circle and rectangular plastic boxes and had no issues with mounting to either one. The housing comes with several slots of attaching to different size boxes.

I installed 94 of these over two years ago in my house and couldn't be more happy. All of the one star reviews are a bit puzzling. If you use the right dimmer, wiring, and load the circuits with lights ONLY, you'll be golden. Some of these certified electricians will wire outlets, a microwave, 12 lights, and whatever else to a circuit. If your circuit draws power from random places at random intervals, LEDs will blink at times. Also, if you have the wrong dimmer and too light of a load, they'll blink like your at a trance dance party. I have one light out of 94 that blinks if I dim the lights to 20%. The dimmers I used are TopGreener(pictured). Out of all the lights I installed only TWO have failed to date. These lights rock and continue to work tirelessly at our home. The only improvement I would suggest would be increasing each wire length by 2 inches. I plan to incorporate them in many future projects.

I couldn't believe we could find so many lights for so cheap, and they ALL work perfect! We fully expected to have at least one or two duds. They're super bright. We needed all of them when we rewired our basement and now it's lit up like a sunny day. Look past the basement mess (we had to move everything around to get the lights in). All the bright spots are these lights. There was only one complaint we had and that was that the black and white wires were shorter than we would have liked. It was awkward bringing the light itself so close to the box to hook it together, but I got the hang of it after about a dozen lights. Once the wiring was in place, it didn't take us long at all to get them in. I would definitely recommend these to everyone!

These are listed as retrofit lights, they are not. They must be hardwired. When returning I got hit with a return fee. I lost 18 dollars because of a bogus description.

We are a builder and purchased over 2,000 of these lights, they go out quicker then you can install them. I understand a few going out in an order of 2,000 but we have had to replace over 30% of the lights that we installed a month ago due to the light bulb burning out.

I like the ease of these lights. We placed a lot of can lights up and you can literally place these anywhere on the ceiling. Between joists or even below them. I like they can be placed in different style boxes as well. The light themselves seem to be good quality and sturdy. The actual LEDs are sealed on the ring. I’m not a electrician by any means but the simplicity of the installation of these lights is awesome. I will be buying more in the future to revamp the lighting in my basement

These are all over our newly built home, bright & affective, we are off grid, really compliment the ceilings. Bought a variety of brightness, it lo9ks like there's a window of light. This is our battery room, no windows.

Great lights, bright and easy to install..my garage looks like an operating room! I found the following issue, the wires are very short, (less than four inches), wires are very thin gauge, the mounting holes were a bit narrow for normal 3 1/2 light box, and the globes tighten by turning to the left. First time “righty tighty, lefty loosey” didn’t work. I would still purchase them again.
