Very pretty glass beads
We got a patio set that came with some of these glass beads, but there were not enough of the beads to cover the burner and they were all just one color. We ordered these to supplement what we had and to add more color. These matched the style of beads that came with our patio set and these added volume and brighter color. Really makes the fire more pretty and controllable. Some of the reviews said that they had issues with the marbles exploding. We had our fire on for several hours and never experienced anything like that.

Nice beads change the look of your firepit!
Really nice fire beads, and beautiful when put on top of the lava rock to cover that up, (I need to leave the lava rock around the propane burners because they are what really generates the heat) but you'll need two bags for even a small-sized fire pit. So don't skimp when ordering!

Beautiful glass beads
Very nice finish and color. Well packaged and arrived early. I got 20 lbs. but only needed 10! I only filled to cover the burner tube. My burner tray is 10x10 and I put almost 2 inches of beads in. Only ran the flame for a few minutes but the glass really retains the heat.

Safety issue
Supposed to be tempered glass but they break and fly through the air so very dangerous.

Now they are matte finish
The look nice and shiny until the hot flames take that away. They are now a matte and not gloss but only the ones that have been heated.

The wife LOVES them
Purchased these to replace those lava rock brickets that came with the fireplace, as a surprise for the wife; she absolutely hated how it looked with the original rocks. I would, atm, recommend this product and advise on choosing the large bag; it was just enough.
