The portable iron is a great thing, almost like the one Radio Shack used to have in the store when they existed still (and not bankrupt). If it came with a method to strike up the torch or the iron then the rating would be better. But like the one's from Radio Shack, it lacks the option to store the head pieces not being used at the time. And to try to use the original packaging as its container doesn't work when your's came crushed up. Bringing me to the durability factor. It's really not that durable, the fact that the twist on feature doesn't have some sort of snug like option and just too easy to be twisted up until it pops off the top doesn't help either.But unlike the Benzomatic portable soldering iron/torch or the other stand up torch's that has no way to see fluid level, this one comes with a full see through tank. Which is one of the positives i have for it. So really for it's price is great. The shipping time to get to me was not so great. But all in all it works the way i needed it to.Oh just for a little warning if you do buy this or this kind of item (ie different colored ones) the whole unit isn't twisted on snug for its parts. the pieces should be twisted snug for the metal pieces like the stem that connects to the torch head or iron not so much but the remaining under that point, yeah. And the iron head needs to be twisted tightly as well. It's great it comes apart but to have the base of the iron twist off instead of the whole head makes it kind of iffy. But making a box or container for the item is probably a good idea instead of using a tool bag.

I like the attachments interchangeable heads it heats up pretty quick but like I said burns through fuel

Seems to work OK.

A little underpowered for what I purchased it for (soldering half inch copper tubing) but fun to use. When fully closed, the valve tends to leak and allow the butane to gradually deplete (just like the one I owned five years ago.)

Works great but no self igniter so you need to have a lighter or match handy when using.

Handy but Cheap…when I received it, it was kinda crooked and wonky but worked fine. Soon as the butane ran out I could not refill it. No clue why but it’s pretty much trash now. Unable to get the gas to flow into the tank. Nothing happens.

Me gustó porque se utiliza cuando no tienes una conexión eléctrica cercana, es compacto, recargable ,muy fácil de transportar , nivel de flama regulable y su accesorio de punta tipo cautín muy buena .

Llega a la temperatura óptima en escasos segundos ya que es de gas además funciona también como mini soplete, yo lo usé para instalar mi auto stereo y funciona muy práctico

totalmente recomendable excelente calidad y funcional es muy practico

The media could not be loaded.  Me da un poco de miedo utilizar esto por que lleva gas y se ve demasiado barato y mal hecho, esta chueco y el empaque vino roto.
