Better than a wall converter.
Our son is studying overseas, and this is compatible with his laptop charger, which means he dosn't need to use a wall-wart converter from U.S. sockets, which is very convenient.

Used for travel to the UK with no issues
I have a GaN usb charger that I love to use when travelling as it has multiple high wattage USB-C ports. On a recent business trip to London I picked up this power cable so I could continue to use my favorite charger. Worked great and had no issues powering everything up. One note is if you are using this to replace a NA cord that you confirm you device is dual voltage rated for UK 240v power in addition to US 120v.
