We have an outdoor kitchen with a built-in Bull gas grill. To be honest, grilling a hamburger on the Bull is about the same as doing it indoors on the stove. Since it's just my wife and I, all we wanted was a compact hibachi-type gill for our patio. Enter the OPW grill. I found this while doing a search on Amazon. It's compact, portable, ingeniously designed, a breeze to assemble, study, made in America, and best of all, it works perfectly! We love it! I recommend this product without qualification to anyone who wants a compact, high-quality grill.

This is a superior quality portable grill for 1 or 2 people and is well worth the price. The best hibachi I've ever owned. It's made of 1/8" raw unfinished steel, weighs 11 lbs., and came unassembled in a 12" x 8" USPS envelope. It assembles in seconds, without fasteners, and is surprisingly solid and stable. I used cast iron conditioning oil (vegetable oil is fine too) to repeatedly wipe on to the hot grate until it developed a nice dark finish. Care for it just like steel or cast iron cookware and it should last forever, and then some.It's made by On Point Welding located in Coopersville, Michigan, U.S.A. If I wanted a larger grill, I would not hesitate to buy the larger version.

I wanted a small, Hibachi style grill to cook for my wife and I while camping. Was intrigued by the design and couldn't wait for it to arrive. Fired it up the first night for burgers and it worked great. Immediately turned around and ordered another one for our daughter. Heavy duty, stores flat, easy assembly, no knobs, handles, or screws. If you like cooking with a Dutch oven, you will love this. Should last a lifetime.

I’ve used the portable charcoal grill in couple weekends trips. My opinion, those who prefer grilling in a Kamado or on heavy duty cast iron will appreciate the build quality and bbq experience. Looks great and it’s heavy means it won’t tip over when you have to turn the meat.It’s easy to assemble and when not in use fits neatly into a shipping envelope (that’s how I store it). Care for it as you’d care for cast iron cookware and it’ll last a lifetime and beyond.

Great little small grill for grilling hotdogs/s'mores in the backyard (or wherever!). Smart design. Price seemed a bit high, but once it arrived, the quality was immediately noticeable. Worth the money. You get what you pay for. You can buy one of these, take care of it, and you’ll pass it on to your kids.

There is no temperature control, as it was not all the years of human cooking on fire, you have to feel your food preparation. The device is for 1-3 people. It will help to have a box for storage after use. I am using cardboard box from book delivery by mail

I go Jeep camping with my dog and I love small tools to make life easier. This little grill is one of my favorite things. It folds down so small and is very easy to use. So well built and made in the USA. I highly recommend this grill for one or two people. Or like me, one person and a spoiled dog.

Bought this for surf contests and other short stay beach outings.... Nice to have heat and warm food on the beach some days! It would be nice if heating surface could be adjusted a bit. Only one position and that’s slammed down over the coals. Also a little Carry case or bag would help.
