The necklace is 17 inches in length and it is sterling silver. The molecule is made from solid sterling silver and for this version is hangs in a horizontal position. We also have a version of it hanging vertically. In LOVE with this unique piece!!!
I bought this as a gift... tried it on... and kept it for myself!!! It is well made and is very sturdy. I love the length because it fits more like a comfortable choker on me. If you are looking for something more dainty, this particular design is more bold and definitely stands out. It's beautifully crafted and I'm expecting to receive many comments and questions once I wear it out. I love the nerdy and corky concept behind the making of this super cool molecule necklace... but I am also obsessed with things that are outside of the box. Great quality necklace!!!

Cute necklace
Chain feels durable and the dopamine molecule sits high on my neck. I have metal sensitivities and have not had a problem with this necklace and I wear it quite a bit. I get lots of compliments on it too!

the item said it was sterling silver but the item did tarnish after some wearing, I think it might be plated and not full sterling. the item itself sits very nicely around the neck, comes in a nice case.

Great Present For Any Science Nerd
I purchased this item for my girlfriend and she absolutely loved it. It is high quality and the design is easy to see. Buy this for anyone who would a appreciate a slightly nerdy science gift!!!

It's decent quality and heavier than it looks.
It comes nicely presented in it's box along with the foil sticker explaining chemically what dopamine is. The only downside to the necklace is the clasp. I personally hate lobster claw clasps and have to fight with mine every time I put it back on. But it's so nice it's worth that minor struggle.

I wear it daily. No discoloring and my sensitive skin isn’t affected by it. I got my mom the serotonin one as a gift and she’s just as impressed. I get complemented at work daily on it. Best purchase this year.
