"white" is gray
Bought this for use as color guard equipment tape. The white is more gray. Not a huge deal, but taping a new rifle, it really stands out. The attached picture compares this brand with the 3M brand in white.

Without stretching I can easily read 6 pt writing on a fire extinguisher
I read a review that suggested that tape is tape. It seemed to imply that there isn't much variation between one brand or another. Others know that we've tried our luck with a dollar store or other discount store and purchased this nearly brittle almost slippery length of "tape". Another review stated that this tape is translucent or some such thing. It is. If this tape is used to wrap wire and it's stretched a wee bit the print on the cable may be visible. Without stretching I can easily read 6 pt writing on a fire extinguisher. I wanted to see if that was true. I then began the task of repairing my motorized bike's spark plug cable, fixing a pair of headphones and a couple cords. I'm more than satisfied with the stretch and stickiness of this tape. A small pair of scissors is recommended for a clean wrap. Some may attempt the tooth method on the end and expect it to snap. Um nope. Does it stretch to approximately 200% of it's original length? Without a doubt. Is it really sticky? Yep. Can it be pulled of of a surface or your fingers and still be used? Yep.

This tape is thin and the adhesive is not very good
I don't like leaving bad reviews but I would not buy this tape if I were you. It stretches good for wrapping electrical wires and you get a big roll, but it is too thin. I don't see this tape holding up to heat very well at all when it comes to electrical wires. Does not seem safe to me. The adhesive is weak and does not stick very good. Put a $1 extra to it and get a roll of 3M instead. The 3M is thicker and sticks really really good.

Highly recommended—you should get some!
In my music studio and in my stereo cabinet I have LOTS of cables of all different types interconnecting: CD drives, tape decks, amplifiers, preamps, equalizers, mixers, synthesizers, sound modules, effect units, turntables, network players, speakers, subwoofers and sound cards. It had become very difficult to keep track of all the cables and keep them organized (overwhelming really…). Then I discovered electrical tape in a rainbow of colors: GENIUS!I now wrap each cable a couple of times with a different color, or combination of colors, to identify it and I keep track of the color scheme in a spreadsheet. It’s now all organized and I no longer have to trace a cable to figure out to what it’s connected. Electrical tape also has lots of other uses. Highly recommended—you should get some!

So far, so good!
This review is for the 12 pack of 3/4” color tape. I’m using this for an art project and have tested the pink and purple on thoroughly cleaned Ethernet cables. So far, the adhesion is great. The dark purple looks like it’s a different brand, but It’ll be fine for my project.I also have a Scotch 3M roll of purple in this size and half inch, and it’s a slightly different shade of purple. So, if you want more colors like I do, this 12 pack is a great purchase.Keep in mind that if you stretch as you stick, you might end up with lines that are less than 3/4”, but I think that’s the case with most electrical tape. Also, if you’re using this for art or to seal anything, get the dirt and grime off first! I used disinfectant wipes or alcohol until there was no more dirt, and this tape was super sticky even onto itself!

Good tape
Ran out of my old E tape & needed more. Price for a roll this size seemed decent & buying it on Amazon saved me a trip to the hardware store. Used this tape to patch up my Version phone charger because the plastic covering that surrounds the internal wires started to peal off due to excessive use & lack of flexibility of the charging cable itself. Great for wiring projects & repairs. Highly recommend for covering exposed wires.

What I need in gray
I had new air conditioning installed and pipe work was covered with black tape with lettering on it. Did not like the look of it. Purchase this gary tape to cover black tape. I installled it about a month ago and it is holding ups well in both rain and sun. Tape is similar to vinyl electrical tape slightly thicker though

these tape are useless, the adhesive is a joke; won't stay on at all - do not waste your money
Do not buy these. They are useless because the adhesive is very weak. It won't stay on for even an hour then start to peel off by itself. Do not waste your money. It is as good as the 99cents store items.
