It arrived securely packaged and comes in a convenient box with a plastic handle for easy storage and transport.Surprisingly the batteries are not cheap generic no-name brands that are already expired.The unit includes 2 Maxell AAA batteries, separately cellophane wrapped.The scale is 100% accurate.I tested it in various parts of the apartment to account for discrepancies in the flatness/balance of the floorboards and got consistent results.I tested the scale using two 5 lbs. dumbbell plates and the scale read a perfect 10 lbs.The textured metallic finish over the glass base is very nicely applied and provides for a better grip and reduces slippage when you're standing on the scale.The digital display is sharp/clear and very easy to read.

This scale is sleek and pretty and the read out is big and clear. I have also noticed the accuracy is on point. Only problem I have found is it does not display the numbers I want to see .. Lol!

Easy to use, great display. Seems to be accurate (people in scale reviews literally don't understand water weight and fluctuations lol... I don't get it). Only had it for 2 months, so we'll see how it holds up.Oh I also love that it's not glass? It's petty but I'm tired of all these glass scales smh

I love that it's metal covered. Glass scales tend to shatter, and while the glass could still shatter on this one, you'd at least be protected by the sheet metal wrapped over it. That was the biggest selling point for me, and it doesn't hurt that the brushed metal surface doesn't smudge as bad as glass.The occasional flaky measurement is the reason I took a star off. It gives me a good idea as to my weight, but occasionally will get stuck about 1-2 pounds off (keeps measuring that weight when I get on/off/on). It also sometimes likes to flipflop between two values about a pound or two away. I can get it to "reset" by picking up something heavy, weighing myself, then re-weighing just myself. If you need super precise measurements 100% of the time, this *might* not be what you're looking for. If you're like me and are needing something for weekly weigh-ins for a weight loss journey, it's probably perfect.It's easy to use, easy to read, and other than the occasional accuracy problem, exactly what I wanted for a great price.

The product is a small glass square that fits comfortably into even the most "budget" apartment bathroom and will weigh you as often as you desire within seconds of stepping on. There is an option to swap between the American pound and kilogram which ever is better for your self esteem. The screen is a comforting blue color for easy reading during midnight existential crisis. Downfalls are that it will not read below 20lb and can therefore not weigh the average housecat although most medium dogs will fall above the threshold. All in all it will give you the information you need regardless of your desire to hear it.

With so many products by so many other companies I could have chosen a much better unit elsewhere. I must give it points for low price and light weight. It is hard to slide on the floor which great for safety, but very hard to move with your feet if you want to safely keep it out of the way when not weighing yourself. And if you want to move it in to weigh yourself and the back in the corner to leave room there is no raised or lowered edge, no bevel or lip around the display, or any other way your feet or finger tips can use to pull it away from the walls when it is in the corner. Picking it up with your fingers will require bending down and almost certainly end with dropping it with a crash on the floor because there is no lip to grab. Once the scale is in position you step on it and it immediately starts working (a good thing) and the display begins to madly race up and down. It races too fast to see the numbers and another major bad thing happens, the display shuts off after only a few seconds. No final number, not even enough time to guess at what it should be. This is a major problem. The whole reason for buying a scale is to get a number that is fairly close to your real weight. This scale doesn't give me a number. It is flying by so fast I can't even guess. So as for the scales accuracy , your guess is as good as mine, and both probably better than the scale's.It does come with two batteries so you can begin guessing immediately, and so far it has not broken from trying to move it and dropping 3 or 4 times.

The reason that I think this is a great value, is because I purchased it in 2016, and I regard longevity highly. I am replacing it with another version from Taylor. The only reason to replace it, is it broke when it was dropped while being moved. It is accurate as it has only ever been a half pound different from my doctors office. It is easily calibrated. It’s low profile design made it easy to slip between bathroom fixtures. It’s one possible drawback for some might be it does not work as well on carpet. I have only ever used it on tile.

Prende a pocos segundos de que detecta peso.Es liviana y tengo la impresión de que es frágil, pero no ha dado problemas.

Tengo una báscula Taylor 100% de metal, que ya le llegó su tiempo de jubilación. Por eso estuve (y sigo buscando) una sustitución. Por mi trabajo necesito una de metal; cuando encontré esta báscula, la compré por que en la descripción dice que es de metal y NO es así, la plataforma es de cristal templado cubierta de una calconania de color gris simulando ser de metal. Además de llegarme la caja abierta de los sellos, suponiendo que la regresaron por las mismas razones, hay comentarios de otros compradores de que se traba en el peso que marca, siempre es el mismo, tiene un error. Ya la regresé. Anexo fotos de mi comentario.

Ya tengo casi dos años con ella y me ha salido buena, no he tenido ningún problema, sigue marcando bastante exacto el peso pequeña variaciones
