Yes, you can use an orbital sander or buffer to apply our finishes!

I used both. My tray was beautiful when I finished with the both products. I really don’t know if you need both, but I loved the outcome

Can you use it on a hybrid wood and resin board?

Resin is a coating so I don't think the oil would penetrate.
