PT-80 Mini Battery Charger for Sony NP-BX1

Updated: NP-BX1 batteries are hard to fit in this charger. At first, i thought they did not fit at all, because the charger is designed for a much larger battery. I have since discovered that I can wedge my battery in just below some little ridges, and it does seem to charge if I can do this correctly. It is clearly designed for some other battery, and the little NP-BX1 ridges barely resolve this deficiency.

This is a great battery charger! It is priced very well (I paid $6, Jan 2015). I purchased the Premium Tech PT-80 Mini Battery Charger for Sony NP-BX1. I have only wonderful things to say about my experience with this charger.Pros:+ The price is low. It is way lower than the Sony battery charger.+ The build quality is good, it is very sturdy and will surely be very durable+ It comes with an included 12V car adapter.+ It comes with an included foreign country A/C adapter.+ The two male prongs that plug into the wall can be "folded into the unit" to make it easier to store and travel.Cons:- None!I purchased the charger and when I received it, unfortunately it did not work. On rare occasion, an electronic part will arrive defective; that did not concern me. Due to the low price and the cost of returning the charger, I decided to throw it away and call it a day. By wonderful coincidence, the seller (SaveOn Digital) emailed me and asked me if I was satisfied with the charger. I explained that it did not work and they immediately sent me a new one at no charge. The new one works perfectly.I highly recommend buying this product and more specifically buying it from SaveOn Digital. Everyone wants to purchase from a company that stands behind their product and delivers excellent customer service.

Not the best as it does not have a recharge state indicator. The Digipower TC-55S is much better buy for the money.

Have trouble putting battery on charger every time, but works well and small for travel is great.

It works well and it does everything I need it for. I guess there is a reason that Sony charges so much for a similar product. Sony is not the only company to do this and I guess that is why Premium Tech sell a lot of these products.

I bought this for use in my Sony helmet camera and the positive and negative contacts were the opposite of what they should have been. You can not just flip the battery around because it will not then sit correctly on the charger. I was totally unable to use it.

The Sony RX-100 does not come with an external battery charger. In order to charge the battery you have to connect the camera (with battery inserted) to your computer. Poor design by Sony. When I purchased this charger, I could charge the battery any time without having to connect the camera to my computer. A great product to own if you have the Sony RX-100. I also purchased a spare battery to go along with the charger. With this set up I should never be without a fully charged battery.

This charger works with no problems. Highly recommended.

It is better made than universal ones, and provides both car and European switches.

Works as advertised used it on all my Sony Batteries perfect.
