The media could not be loaded. I love this bass drum practice pad. It is the quietest one I have played. Heavy-duty and well thought out.When playing drums, it's sometimes hard to really hear what's going on, especially with the bass drum being so far for a person's ear. When I have went into the studio, I've gotten to hear all of the imperfections of my playing. My biggest challenge is inadvertently playing doubles on my bass drum when I only want to hit a single. I get sort of a "buzz" roll. I needed to get better control. This unit has helped so much.The big deal here is that I can practice this whenever I want, and not get on everyone's nerves. Easy on the ears. Also, the feel is awesome - I don't seem to feel much difference from my bass drums.This purchase is a no-brainer if you want to practice your foot control more and get better. Most importantly, it's fun to play.Lastly, the support is great. I had a question and I was helped out lightning fast. Solid company - thank you for making such a great product.

I’m usually not one to write reviews, but I was so impressed with this product that I felt compelled to do so. While “low noise” is certainly a relative term, this pad is fantastic in comparison to the noise levels of other practice pads I’ve heard. The rebound feel is also very nice and comparable to your actual bass drum. The construction is very sturdy, but I would recommend using this on carpet to keep it from sliding. Very pleased with my purchase!

Bought for my husband so these are his words: Made with heavy duty materials. Easy to set up. Sound muffling and feel are great. Pad has enough of a low note sound to remind you that your playing a 'bass drum'. About as close a feel to a real bass drum as I've come across. Would recommend this product to others. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for and seems like this unit will last.

My last practice kick pad broke after 6 years of straight up beating. It was a little loud, so I decided to spend a little more to get a more quiet practice kick pad.The assembly of this is a joke. It is a series of 3 pieces I attach myself, including the frame. The frame should be one solid piece. The pad itself is just as loud as my last one. I finished building everything and followed the instruction video, tightened things as much as possible, and within 30 seconds I gotta re-tighten it again.I do not recommend this. You can find better made gear for cheaper and I hope I can get this thing to not need constant tightening because if so I'm gonna return this. Right now I'm very unhappy with my expensive purchase.

I do like most aspect of this pad. But, considering the price point, I expected a better, more complete setup. No instructions came with the unit. For the most part, it's obvious how the nuts and washers should be installed. Missing were locking washers critical for keeping nuts in place to keep it "low-noise". Without these the nuts and screws loosen up quickly. I added these locking washers myself as the wing nut and the base screw with the drum tuning key shaped constantly loosen. I have not seen any real wear pad yet. But, I'm only 30 days in. It's pricey, but with the couple of small adjustments works well for double kick pedal.

This is a great investment either for getting someone into drumming (if not yet ready to buy a full kit) or for quiet practice, which is what I bought it for. Combined with a practice pad for a snare drum, you can do any syncopation exercise. Does not come with a pedal.

Poorly made product. Does not stay attached to the kick pedal (dw9000) for longer a few minutes. Constantly having to re-tighten the bar that attaches to the kick pedal. For a product this expensive, it’s a real, real let down. As I work on cruise ships, it’s hard enough to get access to products like this, would like my money back.
