Power Systems Premium Gym Mat, Jet Black

I tried one of these mats at my parents condo gym and LOVED it. It's the perfect size and consistency for a pilates mat workout. So when I got home, I looked online and it's actually cheaper to buy it direct from the company here on Amazon then it was from their website. The only thing I wish this mat had was a loop on the end for easier carrying to move it around because it's heavy and awkward to move. But it does tri-fold nicely for storage. And the heaviness tells me the quality is there and the comfort will last for years to come. This is almost as good as a $1,000 professional pilates mat ... it just doesn't have the squares for your feet when doing Saw, etc, but that's ok, because at 1/10th the cost, I'll make do. You will love this mat if you you're looking for one.BTW, I have a different mat I purchased on here years ago for $20ish and it just doesn't compare. It stretches too much when you're on it so it moves around and doesn't provide as much support or cushion as you'd expect (Prosource). This mat by Power Systems is far superior because it doesn't stretch or move around on the floor and provides excellent support along with cushion so you get just what you need. I'm very happy with this purchase ... I still have the ProSource mat because it's more portable, but that's about all I can positively say about it .... Its even tearing in places and we haven't used it THAT much!

I am very pleased with these gym mats. I have purchased both the 48" x 24" and 72" x 36" versions. They are both used frequently and take it well. The 48" x 24" mat folds into two 24" x 24" sections. The 72" x 36" mat folds into three 24" x 36" sections.

Just what I expected. Perfect cushion to protect my hips when working out on my side.

Great for stretching. So much more comfortable than a thin yoga mat.

Professional quality mat for home or gym use.
