CamelBakEddy+ BPA Free Water Bottle

I had a 600 mL eddy that I bought a few years back and finally decided to upgrade to the liter one! For those who drink a lot of water, it's perfect. Plus there's lots of room for ice. I am annoyed that eddy+ isn't compatible with previous eddy models which means all those extra bite valves I had will go to waste. (Please tell me, CamelBak, how this qualifies as a "universal" valve) Additionally, you do have to be sure to clean the lid, valve, and straw more than you would other water bottles because it gets grody fairly quickly. But overall I love the bottle and use it every day!

UPDATE: we now have an army of these bottles. Our baby really took to them when starting water and our older child likes them, too. They fit great in a hiking pack, they are indestructible, and the color variety allows us to keep them all straight.OLD: I've liked Camelback water bottles, but this larger size seems to have a different spout design that I'm used to. It doesn't fold down as securely or cleanly as my 24 oz bottle, which is really disappointing. It feels much flimsier, though the bottle itself seems fine. The straw did seem to warp a bit on its first trip through the dishwasher.

The way this water bottle is designed makes it by far the best nightstand water bottle I've ever tried. It's leakproof, you can drink from it without raising your head or craning your neck. The 1L size is best for me as that's what I usually drink through the night.I would prefer if it was entirely non-plastic, but I don't see how that could be done.

I love this Camelbak. It is 32 Oz and helps me stay hydrated. You do have to be careful when drinking, it does leak a bit if you tip the bottle any. Other than that, it is perfect. And the color is beautiful.

Holds a liter. I had an older model of the same bottle. This one has an upgraded holder for the drinking tube which works much better. The tube won't fall out

I have to drink 78 oz. of water per day. I have kidney disease. This is perfect!

I have been using camelbak products for over 10 years and love them every time! Super handy, easy to use, no mess, not super clunky, and the handle makes it easy to tote around.

Best water bottle I've had in years!

I have used camelbacks for as long as I can remember. They're always my favorite water bottle. Leakproof, large, and easy to drink from (I hate screw tops), easy to carry, as small or as large as I need. When I was younger, I don't remember having to constantly clean my water bottle for mold. I've been using this one for over 9 months now. The first month I had no problem. Then suddenly, the water tasted weird and in the spout was all this black mold! I have been cleaning it out with a chopstick and a cotton swab EVERY WEEK. It's incredibly difficult to clean, including the ridges in the top. I spend almost 20 mins hand cleaning the spout and the connecting piece scrubbing out all the mold. The water goes from nice to disgusting and then I know it's time to clean (even if I can barely spot mold). I can't afford to get a new water bottle, as I had bought one with the expectation that I could use this one for many years. I can't find replacement parts from Camelbak (I'm afraid of people offering off-brand). Unfortunately, I'll have to throw this away as I can't keep this up and my other water bottle (althought a bit worse) doesn't grow black mold I can barely clean. It would've been 5 stars if it weren't for the hard to clean and constant mold :(

After about 10months of careful use and ensuring the valve is handled gently, the bite valve doesn't sit in place anymore, no complaints about the bottle itself but the bite valve doesn't match expectations. It keeps popping up about 5 seconds after pressing it down and doesn't lock in place. It is also a pain to clean this as it's hard to reach the insides of the valve. Contacted customer service and was redirected to talk to Amazon for warranty claims. Initial impressions were great but not so much after about 8-9 months of use. I expected this to last longer.

The issue with this product is that because of the anti-leak tip of the bottle, there tends to be a build up of muck underneath the tip which builds quite quickly and is difficult to clean. This is the 2nd camelback bottle that does this. Disappointing considering the price

Bite valve didn't even have a hole in it! 100% useless and very poor manufacturing. Another issue is you cant just buy the bite valve to replace, well you can....but it costs the same as buying a whole new bottle! NOT SUSTAINABLE!

Always used camelbak, great bottle.
