Awesome EDC carry solution for electronics.
Excellent for storage of electronics, this is in my EDC bag for school and work (IT helpdesk). The straps are the perfect tension and it really does keep everything in place. I'll list everything I have on mine in the picture below. I could fit more on it if I really wanted to but this more or less my daily stuff. My favorite thing about this is that I can transfer to another bag so easily. Whether I'm traveling for the weekend or just want to use a different bag for a while I can just grab this and know I have what I need without digging through a bag. I would recommend getting this at full price but if you get it while it's on sale like I did it's an amazing value. I ended up buying another one for camera equipment as well.Cables:5ft ethernet cord6ft HDMI cord3ft AUX cord6ft micro USB cord3.5ft lightning cord1ft usb 3.0 cordAdapters:Anker gigabit to USB ethernet adapterAmazon Basics thunderbolt to HDMI adapter3-in-1 charger cable adapterOther:1 tb seagate slim portable hdflashlightearbuds (in hard shell case)128gb flashdrive (in earbud case)Anker dual output wall chargerAnker powercore 10,000 portable chargerfidget rings to quietly mess with while waiting for a call

Almost Perfect for my Needs.... Almost
I love Grid-it products. I like to use them across my various hobbies and travel gear. I naturally went the Grid-It route when putting together a new travel case for some accessories I have on the way, measured the pocket it was to fit in, and felt like I'd be good to go.Except... the grid-it I received as this weird folded over piece of fabric on the edge, as if it's been doubled up. And this catches on everything! Any time I pull it out of my iPad case, it gets stuck on the zipper and I have no choice but ti properly yank it in order to remove it from the case. This is already causing some serious fraying, and I've only had the thing for a day. It's not that big of a deal... I'll just have to order one that is smaller, and repurpose this one for some other thing. It's still a cool organizer and it does its job very well. Too bad for the weird flap, though! It would fit perfectly if not for that.

Good size but lacks back pocket
I have been trying to have an organized purse, and had used pouches as well as a larger version of this organizer. There is always the risk of items being out of sight and out of mind when they are in pouches.Grid-it works well for almost everything and I like how they can be organized almost like mood boards that can then be “filed” in the bag - one Grid It for daily essentials (chapstick, battery, usb cable, pen, hand sanitizer, SAK and a small torch), another Grid-It for laptop stuff (mouse, charger, cables, surface pen) and another for make-up kit for gym etc. All I need to do everyday is to grab the Grid-Its I need for the day and put that into my bag with my wallet, phone and keys. Awesome.I got this particular Grid It for my everyday essentials and I wanted one that will fit into my Tom Bihn small Cafe Bag (which is my smallest daily carry). It is the right size for that purpose. My only criticism is that it doesn’t come with a back zippered pocket as stated in the description and I would have liked to have that capacity to hold some flat items like a small notebook.

Very clever very helpful
Had purchased a couple of these from the Container Store over a decade ago. They were great but they became worn. I had just used some special tape and fixed one but regrettably I tossed one out last week that was very beat up. Obviously then I've had my share of use of these. Some have a zipper pocket in the back. That's the part that wears out. Yet consider how many years I used it.Now there are more different unique sizes and a car visor one too. They are great and I am going to order at least one other size.. Pens, glasses, phones, etc are safe from rolling about if you use these.

First Grid-It product and I'm a believer.
This was my first Cocoon, and it's a lovely product. The imcompetent delivery service left it on my front porch (despite many requests to not do this) and it was completely drenched. I prompted it up in front of a fan to dry it overnight. It now has a slight curve to it, but it's not the manufacturer's fault...That to say, the elastic works well and the product feels durable. The complex arrangement of webbing allows for all sorts of doohickies to get strapped in, and everything holds rather firm. I mostly use mine for holding small USB cables & chargers, but have used it to hold battery packs, camping supplies, and even used it to hold a cell phone, hanging the Cocoon from a tent, so we could watch a football game 😅Great product, and this was the perfect size for me, easily fitting into the front pocket of my backpack.

It's a no brainer, it's just great
I honestly don't know how I used to leave the house without this. I am currently using this to organize my purse, it allows me to carry all the things I need in a neat fashion so I can fit everything I need (and don't need haha) in my bag. I don't really know how to explain it, but I really recommend buying one.I think it paid for itself when I didn't leave a charger at the hotel like I always do because I noticed an empty space on the grid it.

Good concept but heavy and not great for compact travel
I bought this to supplement the organizational pockets in a new messenger bag I bought. It seemed like a great way to keep smaller items organized. However, my main issue is that it is somehow bulky and heavy. It appears to be padded on the back, and at half a pound, weighs more than all the stuff I was going to put into it combined. If you are thinking of getting this to carry with you when traveling, see if you can find one in a store somewhere so you can actually feel it. Return shipping is more than half the cost of the item itself, so I basically just have to give mine away.

Not completely black - partly purple
Nicely presented in a box and sturdy construction, but I was surprised that it was not completely black as per the description and pictures, but partly purple (see my photo). This was not to my taste and I wouldn't have ordered had I known. I ordered 2, both as gifts, and both are black/purple.As other reviewers have mentioned, it is quite heavy given its size and there is no pocket on the reverse which I think is only a feature on the larger sizes. This one was the small size.

Great Idea
What a fantastic idea, a simple and incredibly efficient way to organise loose bits and pieces that you need to carry everyday.I got a smaller one to put in the unused tablet pocket of my laptop bag. I use it to store mostly little things like a portable hdd, flash drives, and sd cards but more importantly usb cables. Using the cocoon gridit saves space that these little thing may otherwise waste.Seems very well made and robust enough to last.

Can't go wrong with buying this whatsoever!
Definitely a weird product since you don't know if you need it till you have it, and I can tell you right now that it makes a huge difference! Whenever I've got my bag, I have to bring this with me since it's not just making life easier by allowing you to hold things in a small place but also by preventing inconveniences such as tangled wires.

This is really useful
This just saves you from trying to find items in the bottom of your bag. It is exactly what I was looking for. I gave some away to friends for Christmas last year. My friends and my brother love them. They are unisex so this are good for people who have everything.

Great organisers
IMO These make geat presents for people who like to be organised, or for those who keep losing stuff and want to be organised. I love them. I keep one hanging from my desk light with pens and bits and pieces tucked into it.I gave this as a present and it was gratefully received :-)
