Evolution of learning brain
As a parent of a child who has recently been identified as gifted, I was looking for a resource that would provide guidance on how to nurture and support my child’s unique abilities. "The Gifted and Talented Child" has been an invaluable tool in helping me understand my child’s needs and how to challenge and encourage their intellectual development.

A must for the kids
These go into great detail to prepare young kids for testing. There has been so much progress since our kids have started using these.

Great prep book
This is a great, well structured practice book to know and understand different kinds of questions and for the kids to practice them.

Good book - recommend
This book is divided into 3 practice tests (plus a brief NNAT intro for parents before the practice test sections, plus an answer key at the end). We went over 1 practice test together first & then the other 2 my son did without my help. Good questions - ranging from simpler at the beginning to difficult (IMHO) at the end. At the end I really had to think about a few of the analogy answers for a minute. The picture completion questions were more about paying attention to the small details, while the analogy & reasoning exercises are about (as the name suggests) - reasoning. (There are 3 types of questions in the book.) I couldn't find many NNAT books in color at the first grade level. Important to have kids do the exercises in color to get them used to the test. I recommend this test prep book.

Great prep book
This book prepared my son so well. He almost got a perfect score on NNET.

Great for at home practice or in the classroom.
I like this book because the main colors are like the NNAT2 & 3 that are used for GT testing. It helps the child feel more confident when taking the real test since the colors are the same. The book has 3 sections and they increase in difficulty. The answers are in the back of the book for questions you may not be sure of.
