I purchased this booster pump on January 10, 2024. The item was packaged well and shipping was quick. Installation is quick and easy, but you can find lots of free online tutorials if needed.I had purchased a RODI filter system to fill my new 100 gallon saltwater tank. I connected it to my backyard water hose and, to my surprise, the water just dripped out of the RODI line, but was running fast from the waste water line.It took over a week to fill my 100 gallon fish tank, with the RODI unit from the backyard water faucet. I tried from an indoor sink faucet, but that produced no water at all. I would estimate the ratio between RODI and waste water from my water hose is about 1:4. I ended up with 100 gallons in my fish tank, and at least 400 gallons of waste water. That much waste water is just not acceptable.After some research I found this little booster pump.I went from a 1:4 ratio to about 1:2. I use the waste water for my pet’s water bowls to avoid as much water going down the drain, and it’s healthier for them than our sink water. Others have mentioned using it to water their plants.My only con is that it hasn’t even hit one year and the motor has gone out. I initially thought it was the power cord thinking maybe it got wet and burned out, so I bought a replacement power cord. I can hear a faint buzzing from the motor but it is not “boosting” the water. My guess is the motor burned out.Although my item stopped working just short of a year, I am purchasing this same item to replace it. Here’s why: This booster saved me a lot of time, and probably a small fortune, in just 11 months. Less waste water and a lower water bill makes this booster one of the smartest purchases I’ve made since starting my saltwater tank. If you own a fish tank you know that you are always making water, and a lot of times you have to make a lot of water in a pinch! I’m just trying to not go broke in the process.I recommend this booster pump to anyone looking for a way to save time and money in this very expensive hobby. Happy reefing!

Works great, have no complaints

The pump was exactly as described. So far it has operated very well.

It’s a little noisy. Easy to install and produces much greater flow volume to the point of use. Fast recovery time. I installed a 25 gallon product water tank and set the tank air charge to 15psig. The cut out is 45 psig, cut in is cut out less differential of 20 psig.It works quite well.

My property runs on well water and our pressures are somewhat low. Running the hydro logic stealth ro 150 from a faucet with the house pressures didn’t allow the ro system to reach optimal pressure. Installing the booster pump absolutely worked and allowed me to dial the pressure needed and help my flow rate greatly. Filling my reservoir doesn’t take hours now. Happy this worked.

This pump raise the pressure from 35 or 40 to over 100 , make RODI water at the rate the system of 150 a day was intended for. Would recommend 💯 % , buy it

Easy to install and worked great, completely resolving all of our low water pressure issues. However, after only 11 months of service, the pump died.
