I have a lot of hair and have been dealing with more hair loss due to autoimmune, so keeping my drains from clogging has become a constant issue. I’ve tried multiple drain catchers, and most either let hair slip through or slow the water so much that it becomes annoying. This one has been a huge improvement. After trying many different drain covers, I took a chance on this. Honestly, it works very well. You just have to clean it every two days. I imagine if you had a lot of people showering, it would clog up faster. But if you don't mind cleaning it with a paper towel once a day it really works! There is a rubber seal around it.And my only concern is that that might deteriorate over time, but i'm several months in using this.And haven't had any issues. It keeps me from having to use drain out and it keeps the plumbers or landlord out of my apartment. The cost alone is worth the risk of trying one. Lol

Have used these ever since we had a big plumbing bill from a clogged bathtub drain. They are aesthetically pleasing. Simple and easy. Stick in for hair collection and pull out to easily remove hair that would have gone down the drain. It does not catch all hair, but it does a great job. Anyone with long haired family needs this little bathtub wonder.

Works great. It definitely catches the hair and it’s easy to clean. Fit the bathtub right out of the box. Can’t believe the amount of hair that previously was going down the drain. We don’t use the stopper so I can’t vouch for that.

This tub shroom is truly amazing! I have long, thick, hair that falls out in huge amounts when I wash it. Prior to getting a tub shroom, I was using a drain hair catcher, but a lot of hair was still getting by it, Consequently, water began backing up in my tub every few months, and I had to keep snaking the drain which is disgusting, time consuming and inconvenient. Since I purchased the tub shroom several months ago, I am happy to say that I have not had to snake my drain once! It is insanely effective at trapping not only hair, but soap scum and shaving cream, which can also clog drains. It’s super easy to install. Although I do not enjoy cleaning it (because a mass of hair and soap scum is gross), it only takes a few minutes to clean and is very easy to remove and put back. Plus, it’s much less gross, easier and faster to clean it than snake my drain! The tub shroom is made of rust resistant stainless steel and has a removable rubber ring on the bottom, which helps it mold to the size of whatever drain you put it in. It’s quite sturdy/durable and easy to clean. I am such a fan of this product, that I purchased sink shrooms for my whole house and hope to never have to snake a drain again! For maximum efftiveness, I recommend using the tub shroom along with a standard drain hair catcher, as that will double the chances that no hair or gunk will make it down your drain.

This little TubShroom for the bathtub drain has been a lifesaver!! It catches every strand of hair and prevents clogged drains. Extremely easy to use and seals tightly in the drain. The quality is great and has held up for over a year now. I bought one for our second bathroom as well.

L'ho preso nonostante il costo perché meraviglioso! Tre donne a casa con i capelli lunghi, io capelli rasati, mi trovavo sempre la doccia con lo scarico tappato e i pieni a mollo ! Ho preso prima quello in gomma bianca, ma col tempo la parte inferiore si è riempita di muffa e deformata, pur continuando a funzionare benissimo. Da qui il passaggio alla versione in acciaio è stata un atto dovuto. Ha 3 anelli adattatori diversi per consentire la corretta installazione dal lavandino alla vasca da bagno, passando per la doccia. È caro, ma li vale fino all'ultimo centesimo. Fantastico anche il tappo a gradini in omaggio che si adatta perfettamente ad ogni scarico del bagno dei tipi elencati sopra (vasca, doccia, lavandino)

This works very well, trapping the hair around the stem located under the mushroom cap. The hair remains out of sight, which is nice. The drain protector is easy to remove and clean. Hair pulls away easily from the stem. Despite prolonged use, the chrome surface of the drain protector has not faded or rusted. The rubber gaskets remain intact. This well-designed and well-made product. The universal rubber drain plug works well, as well.

Love this product - it works great. I had a lot of trouble with the store though - they sent out the wrong product and then completely ignored the requests I made for rectifying the situation, which was annoying. Ultimately I ended up with the product, but it took a lot of back and forth.
