Doctored Locks Premade Synthetic Dreadlocks - Double Ended Hair Extensions - Dark Blue/Turquoise

Okay so first I'd like to start off by saying I understand why people were complaining, if you buy these going into it with the idea that these dreads are 100% ready to be installed you probably will be disappointed. These aren't quite dreads but more of twisted hair sealed at the ends. If you wanted to make dreadfalls or something then they're probably fine as is. But if you want to do a long term install then they will require a bit of work.Now despite that I will still rate them 4 stars and here's why. I've watched Doctored Locks videos (she even says in her unboxing video it's twisted hair and needs to be resealed for long term use) and read all the reviews I realized going in I'd have to seal them myself so I was fine with that. And so far I've been working on back combing and sealing the ones I've bought and they're turning our beautifully. The already premade cut twists have cut the time in half of the work I would've done had I just straight up bought kanekelon hair and did it from scratch. The synthetic shine goes away after being back combed and sealed as well.If you don't want to do any of the work besides the install I'd suggest going on Etsy and paying to get handmade sets but those especially full sets of synthetic dreads can cost well over a few hundred dollars. So it depends on you really if you want them cheap but without the work, or already made but expensive.But personally I'd rather seal them myself and pay less for them, and for that reason I absolutely love these. The colors are dead on and I bought 7 packs (6black, 1neon violet) and there's definitely enough for my full head. I will definitely be purchasing again!

these are incredibly thin. i saw other reviews saying that but i like thin dreads. these are not worth it. i bought 3packs aka 60 dreads and theres no way these will look good. absloutly does not look like it will be a nice full head of dreads.also i tried installing a couple just to try and get a feel for them and theyre a nice length but if you have long/longish hair it will not look good. half your head will just be straight braids.they sent me a single swedish fish attached to a card asking for a 5 star review. LOL no these are awful.

While these were in the shape of dreadlocks, they weren't actually dreaded; except for the very ends, they were just twisted, so within a few days they had started to untwist and tangle. The colors were pretty, though, and people seemed to like them (I spent a lot of time untangling them to keep them looking nice). Also, some came loose from my head; maybe it'a coincidence that they were mostly the orange ones.

I am super happy with this product. At first I was debating getting them because for only around 8 bucks I was scared they would disappoint. But I had no need to worry they are beautifully made and arrived 4 days early and everyone who feels them think they are real. They are super silky soft and I'm impressed. The only and I mean only think that was off was the color they are lighter than the picture but still perfect for me because it's actually closer to my hair color. Keep up the awesome work! I'll be buying more!!!!

They arrived earlier than expected, were easy to add into hair. However they still really needed sealed and so I had to seal them before putting them in which was a hassle. I could have made my own and done the sealing (which I hate) and spent a little less than what I paid for them.

I can’t say how much I love these because it would be an understatement. They are so much fun to rock for all kinds of styles. Will probably never wear my hair without them again for real! 🤘🏻Rock on Doctored Locks 🤘🏻

I ordered to add some color to my dreads because they are baby dreads and I'm waiting for them to lock fully before doing and permanent color. I wasn't expecting them to be like real hair and they do a fair job of mimicking a dread, the problem I ran into was that my hair is very long, when I unfold them for full length they have a permant bubbleish-fold in them that don't look good when put at full length and so I was unable to use them :( possibly if they were just packaged in a spiral, in a bag this would prevent this? I like the product, just not able to use

The locs came 2 days earlier that expected which is great! I also received some candy which is pretty cool. They had that store bought smell to them but that was to be expected. The only thing is some synthetic locs had to be sealed. This is my first time with synthetic locs and so with a quick youtube search of how to seal them it was easy I thought. I would order from them again for sure.
