This is the best one I have had. The other one, a wooden one did not have any adjustments to evenly remove water.Also this is easy to clean and removes water quickly so I can do more than one piece every 15 minutes or so. Works well. But the tiny thread takes FOREVER to screw and unscrew.

I've had this tofu press for almost 3 years now and it looks and functions just like it did when I first got it. No more wasting tons of paper towels and balancing cans or cookbooks on my tofu. The design is simple and effective. It's easy to handwash, I've never put it in the dishwasher. I use it several times a week and recommend it to anyone making tofu on a regular basis. Since it drains openly you need to sit it in something like the sink so you don't have a puddle on the counter. I usually rest it in the tofu package and lean it against the backsplash and have never had a spill. I highly recommend this!

The TOFU TAMER is fantastic. I now use the Tofu Tamer to release the water from the tofu. The Tamer is easy to use and will eliminate all of the water. Keep the tofu in the tamer for 15 minutes. You will love this product.

I use it for Tofu, squeezing liquid out of salted zucchinis, and other kitchen squeeze needs. It works great and provides even pressure.

The screws are a little tedious but it does a great job of squeezing the water out of tofu. Tossed the cubed tofu in corn starch and pan fried - turned out super good!

Very easy to use but it is very easy to overtighten and break the tofu so be careful! This product is sturdy and very well made!

I like this press but you have to have it on a plate or in the sink or something to catch the water that is draining. But it does it’s job very well. Holds a full block of tofu. Easy to clean…I just hand wash it. Overall very happy and I’m so glad I didn’t buy one of the cheaper ones.

This drains the water perfect from a block of Tofu. I split the Tofu in half and then place the 2 pieces side by side and close the press to the tightest and the waters comes out quite quickly. Place a plate underneath and leave for 15-20 mins. This is the most water that I've ever gotten out of Tofu and no need to ruin tea towels anymore!

I like tofu, but all the faffing about pressing it without damaging it made my heart sink. So I bought one of these. Game changer, slide the tofu in, tighten the screws bit by bit and watch that tofuey gunk drain into the sink. The only question is how dry you like you tofu, takes a bit of practice not to squeeze too much out, but that is a risk whether you pile saucepans on top of cutting boards, or use this.I just stick it in the sink with some soapy water, and then dry it: job done.

Simple to use. I over-pressed first time, works better increasing pressure just a little every few minutes. After buying, before receiving, I regretted not buying the more expensive version with built-in springs, after using it I found that I don’t need the springs and am very glad I got this springless version.
