I've used this hair twice for my daughter's box braids. She's always gone to a salon for her braids, but to save some money, I decided to learn how to do feed-ins so I could do her hair for her. I had little to no experience selecting the right hair. All I knew was what color she wanted and to buy pre-stretched.First off, I was impressed by the amount of hair in each pack. I used way less than I thought I would. The hair was soft and tangle free. I soaked it in water and ACV to remove any chemicals that may cause itchiness and it dried quickly.As a beginner, i found the hair good to work with. My daughter wanted jumbo(ish) size braids, so we did 14 on her head. The first thing she said when I finished was that it didn't feel heavy at all.As for the hot water setting, you have to be really careful. The first time I braided, we curled the ends using flexirods and dipped into hot water. Some of the braids shrunk a bit because the water was too hot, but yet the curls didn't really hold. The second time (picture attached), I made sure the water was not quite as hot (but hot enough that you didn't want to keep your fingers in it for more than a second or two) and all was good. We didn't curl the ends the second time, we beaded them instead.Overall, we were pleased with the purchase and the price and will buy again.

I braided my daughter's hair with this brand of hair. It is perfect for knot-less braids. They provide you with so much hair as well. I'm confident we have enough hair left over to re-braid her entire head.

The quality is amazing. Very soft,lightweight and easy to use. I'm only giving 3 stars because ordered this hair in 99J and did not receive that color. To be honest I'm not sure what color I have. It's not black and it not brown. I just know it's not 99J so I am a little disappointed I didn't receive the color I ordered. Other than the color mistake it's great hair for the price and I would buy again.
