Bold Standby Pro Case (Black) for Apple iPad Air 2 with Hand Grip, Corner Protection, Multi-Angle Viewing Stand (Built-in Magnetic for Sleep/Wake Feature)

I purchased this case in December of 2014 for my new iPad Air 2 and I love it. I have been using it for almost 10 months. It fits the iPad perfectly and when you close the cover, it automatically puts the device to sleep. When you open it, it wakes up. The case is of good quality and is nice and smooth to the touch. It has a nice, slim profile and is not bulky at all, like some covers are. There is a cut-out for the charging cord, so you can charge with the case on and the flap closed. You can also take photos with the cover on. The device slides in, but is then secured by an interior, velcro flap that tucks behind the device and holds it very securely. it will not slide out accidentally. The best part for me is the way that the case can fold back and acts like a stand. I stand it up horizontally and watch Neflix on it that way or read on it without having to hold it. All in all this is a great case for the price and the slim profile makes it nice to just throw in your bag or briefcase, or carry it like a book. I would highly recommend giving it a try! Got exactly what I paid for. I recommend getting this over what I got from moko.PROSI love the magnets on the back compared to the competition which comes with the elastic band. It looks so much more aesthetically pleasing then the out of place elastic band for holding on the flap/cover when open. All the cut outs are there (especially the ambient light sensor cutouts) unlike other cases *cough moko cough*.CONSMinor quibblesThe corner protection is a little on the soft side but the front and back covers will usually provide most of the protection anyway.The elastic hand strap too centred. I can barely reach it when one handing the iPad (I have small hands). (Yeah I know this isn't a one handed device but I do it anyway especially when scrolling through the news.) I Wish it was further to the left or right nearer to the edge so I can more firmly grip the case/iPad while scrolling on the iPad with my thumb.OVERALLVery happy with the case despite its minor flaws.

Okay, read many reviews and settled on this one. I saw the minor alterations and fixes that some people suggested and decided that was reasonable and easy enough to do for this great price. Inserted my iPad as soon as the case arrived and it looks and feels very secure. Based on my usage, I decided to save the extra padding and adjustments for another time as the case seems completely adequate, as is. Over time I may try one of those little add-ons recommended in other reviews or develop my own but even with that little tweak, this is a great value as compared to the other cases I considered.

The case protects well and fits the ipad well. I do have two issues with it. First, the automatic sleep/wake feature does not always work properly, leading to a drained battery if you forget to double check that it has engaged. Second, the case itself has a strong chemical odor that has not gone away after a few weeks. I personally would have rather spent more on a similar case made of actual leather, rather than a cheap one that smells bad.

Bought this 3 times now for myself and my dad. I had the first one for 2 years before I had to buy a new one after its wear and tear but definitely satisfied with the quality of this product. Protect your iPad and looks very professional. Make sure you are buying the right case for whatever model you have---CaseCrown offers one for the iPad Air AND the iPad Air 2, both of which I have ordered and am satisfied with. And for its price?! Cannot be beat!

Case is really flimsy. Felt i was going to rip it apart just taking it out of the box

nice case and the price was great however the case seemed to be put together in the reverse where the power button is on the top of the case and the camera is on the bottom of the case. Nice quality fits really well but this one must have been put together upside down. Will probably contact Case Crown and find out if this was supposed to be this way or whether I received a flawed case

I've been pleased with the CaseCrown cases for the various Kindles I own, so decided to get this one for my iPad Air 2. It's well made, and fits the ipad very nicely. I had a little trouble with the little flap that needs to fold under the ipad (after it's been inserted) and then be attached to the bottom with velcro -- but with a bit of trial and error I got it in snugly, and have had no problem since.It's nearly perfect for my daily use, and I have only two minor criticisms.(1) The case looks a little askew, as if the pieces weren't cut exactly right. Makes finding the power button a teeny bit more work. But it's a minor defect. No other problems with the various ports and buttons, they're all easily accessible.(2) The triangle "stand" position I make with the front folded back and pushed into a little flap on the back, requires a little fiddling, and doesn't always sit quite right. Making the flap a bit wider & deeper might have helped.Finally, the wakeup/sleep function for the ipad works just fine, I've not had any problems with it.Unless you're willing to pay up a lot more (I wasn't), this is a very fine option.
