These files do a super smooth job on my nails, so much better and smoother than a typical steel file. I had my original Hoffritz file for 50 years. It always worked like the day I purchased it. Unfortunately I lost it on vacation. I bought these as a replacement, so far, I am very pleased with their performance. I see no difference. Highly recommend.

These nail files are great. They are a little on the coarse side, but that is what I like about them. They will last a long time and not wear out. I've bought 2 different sizes. I first bought the 2.5 inch blade, and found them a tiny bit too small. Then ordered 3.5 inch size. Both sizes come in handy.

I'm relatively new to nail filing, but have gotten into it for playing nylon string instruments.This is the best nail file I've ever used. It allows you to shape your nails to play guitar, uke, or really any other plucked or strummed instrument.

The two metal nail files are incredible, honestly, the best I’ve ever had. Super precise, smooth, and strong. You can really feel the quality, and they leave the nails perfectly shaped without tearing.The buffer, on the other hand, feels a bit low-quality, the material is very light and doesn’t seem as durable.Still, for the metal files alone, this set is totally worth it!

I have no idea what the reviewers who gave this 1 star recently are talking about; they are not cheap Chinese junk. They were made in Germany. I purchased the set for that very reason; Solingen is a city in Germany not China. Before purchasing, I did research on-line for the 3 Swords Germany company and found out that items sold by 3 Swords Germany are manufactured in Germany. Specifically, the Sapphire Nail File Set is confirmed to be made in Solingen, Germany. I, for one, am extremely pleased with the nail files; they work great. So much better than a bendy emery board, other brands of nail files, or a nail file with metal grooves.

Very high quality, not like the cheap stuff you get at the drug store. This should last for years.

These are perfect for filing my nails. I have very hard nails and go thru emery boards quickly. A nail file doesn't last long either because both my toenails and fingernails are that hard. These last a long time! I don't use the buffer but I use the 2 files. Love them!
