Great case for the price.
I have only had my Galaxy 4 about 3 weeks. When I initially went out to look for protection I was shocked at the high prices and overall selection available in stores and online with Samsung. Thank you Amazon! The cover fits perfectly and looks great, very professional. When you place your phone in initially it looks like it wont stay in but the corners do a great job keeping it in place. The cover for the screen closes securely and despite the fact that I cannot for some reason stop flipping it open and closed the clasp has not lost any ability to remain closed to protect the screen. The soft inside of the screen cover also does an excellent job cleaning my screen when I close it, other than a single fingerprint streak that appears due to an indent in the cover. The cover works just as any other cover would; when you close it the screen goes lack and when it opens the program you were running opens right back up as if you never left. Its a problem for battery life but great for convenience. The cover is not the lightest out there, but its worth it. It does increase the size of your phone of course, it seems to be the same thickness of two GS4s on top of each other, which still isnt that much. All ports and buttons are accessible. The speaker seems a little crowded but Ive had no issue hearing music or movies with the cover on. The ability to prop itself for video watching works well and Ive found it works well for taking notes as long as you dont press too hard because it tends to bounce with each press.Ive only had it for a week or so, but so far its done amazingly well. If youre looking for a cover for an athletic lifestyle this isnt the right choice. If youre looking for a phone cover with a professional look you can take out during a meeting without getting glares or comments this is the one for you.

If you want a portfolio case, this is it. (compared to Celito case)
Fit my Galaxy S4 perfectly. Fits snugly under grips at the four corners, leaving the rest of the edges accessible. But the edges shouldn't make contact with any surface you dropped it on, because the corner bumpers and clasp protrude just enough to prevent that. It seems nice compromise between access and protection. The cover snaps closed with the same kind of snap as the corner bumpers that hold the phone, no magnet. Both the corner bumpers and clasp seem quite strong; they've not relaxed at all over the few months I've had this case. But it's not too difficult to get the phone in and out. I purchased the black one, which looks and feels quite upscale. High quality, soft leather. We later purchased a grey one for my wife's Nexus 5, and that looks even classier, I think. Smooth leather rather than pebbled. Finally, the screen darkens automatically as soon as you close the cover, and lights up when you open the cover--so you actually do not have the press the button the side of the case to awaken the S4 or put it to sleep. Very handy. (Obviously, it still receives calls, emails, etc when the cover is closed, it's just that the screen goes dark.)I also tried the Celito Samsung Galaxy S4 Premium Wallet Case, and I would give positive reviews to that case also, and it's cheaper. but I like this one better. The leather is much nicer (I don't think the other is leather at all.). One puts the phone in Celito case by snapping it into a plastic frame that surrounds the edges entirely (it's affixed to one side of the Portfolio). The result is that I found the power button on the right, and the volume button on the left, harder to operate when the phone is in the case....there are opening in the plastic frame but the frame still gets in the way a bit when you try to press the buttons. No such problem with this case. And with the Celito, opening and closing the cover does not automatically awaken the phone and put it to sleep.

Nice Case
I have a Targus case for my Nexus 7 and ipad that resembles this AceAbove case to a degree. So, it looks kinda cool when I pair them out on my desk. The case is pretty much what I was looking for...something that looks great, with a conservative low profile, and that protects my S4 when it's in my pocket. I think the only concern that I would have relates to the relatively soft grip of the case on the phone...part of that is due to the square side surface design of the S4 not giving the case a lip to properly squeeze. I wouldn't consider this an active kinda case. If you want Otterbox protection, get an Otterbox or something in that category. I think the phone would stay in the case long enough during a fall without any tumbles to provide protection, but I'm not going to count on it. I treat the phone mindfully, as if it's NOT in a case. Again, buy the level of protection that you need. I still think it's a very good case for the current $12 price especially. I'll usually keep 3 cases in my briefcase or backpack that I can switch out in seconds for what I need in any setting.

Well worth the money.
I really like this case. In fact, it's my favorite case that I've bought for any phone. The quality is excellent. The phone slips into it easily yet holds is snugly. It won't break like some 2 piece hard snap on cases I've had. The phone is easily removed. The screen is nicely protected. I've dropped my phone on a rocky trail several times and the phone and case came out without a scratch. The flip cover is slightly padded. I like the "Kickstand" feature and use it all the time at work.Another thing this case allows me to do that was unexpected is this: I can hang the phone from my car dashboard by inserting the rigid clasp into my heater vent. This is great for when I'm using the media player or the GPS map. You may find the rigid clasp annoying when the cover is flipped around the back, but I quickly got used to it by adjusting the way I grip the phone.I highly recommend this case. I got mine for 12 bucks and I see they've raised the price to 15. It's still a bargain at that price considering how much it would cost if they sold it at my Sprint store (probably twice as much). It is a "smart" case - meaning the phone knows when the case has been closed. It would be nice if they had added a window to let you see the clock through the flip cover, though.
